### The Arena's Chaotic Energy
The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, filled with the roar of the crowd as the Sports Festival continued. Y/N Wilson, who had not advanced to the next round, sat in the stands with a clear view of the matches. They leaned back in their seat, clad in their PE UA uniform, a mischievous grin on their face.
"Alright, folks, let's see what kind of fireworks this tournament has in store!" Y/N muttered, stretching their legs. "And hey, if you're wondering why I'm here and not in the arena—let's just say my ticket to the show got lost in the mail."
### Izuku vs. Hitoshi: A Battle of Wits and Quirks
The first match began with Izuku Midoriya and Hitoshi Shinso facing off. Hitoshi, with a taunting smirk, insulted Mashirao. Y/N raised an eyebrow, glancing around the stands. "Wow, somebody's got a big mouth and an even bigger grudge. Hitoshi, is there a reason your insults are sharper than your Quirk?"
As Izuku's body was forced to move against his will, Y/N leaned forward, watching intently. "Oh, looks like Izuku's having a bit of a malfunction. Someone call a tech support! Or maybe just hit the 'reset' button on his brain."
Izuku remembered Mashirao's advice about breaking Hitoshi's spell with a strong bump. Suddenly, Y/N's eyes widened as Izuku's fingers started glowing with One For All. "Ah, the old 'mysterious figure in the dark' trick. Classic. I always knew my personal space issues were a superpower."
Izuku broke free of Hitoshi's control and turned the tables, pushing Hitoshi out of bounds. Y/N stood up, clapping. "Bravo, Midoriya! I'd give you a standing ovation, but I'm already seated. Plus, my clapping would probably just get in the way."
### Shoto's Tension: Father Issues and Ice Pillars
The next match saw Shoto Todoroki facing off against Hanta Sero. As Shoto created a massive ice pillar, Y/N couldn't help but comment, "Looks like someone's got cold feet—literally! Hanta, if you're going to wrap things up, make sure it's not in ice."
Shoto won easily, and Y/N noticed the look of sadness as Shoto thawed out Hanta. "Aw, the ice prince has a heart after all. Or maybe he's just trying to make sure his former ice-cream cone doesn't melt in the sun."
### The Arm-Wrestling Match: Eijiro vs. Tetsutetsu
Y/N watched the grueling arm-wrestling match between Eijiro Kirishima and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. "This is what happens when you mix a rock with—well, another rock. If I had a nickel for every time I saw two guys beating each other senseless, I'd still be broke, but at least I'd have some change."
Eijiro won the arm-wrestling match, and Y/N clapped exaggeratedly. "And the winner is... the guy with the bigger muscles! Who knew arm-wrestling was a competition for 'Most Likely to Need a Chiropractor'?"
### Katsuki vs. Ochaco: Explosions and Meteor Showers
As Katsuki Bakugo and Ochaco Uraraka began their match, Y/N was in full commentary mode. "Katsuki's explosions are making me nostalgic. I haven't seen that many fireworks since my last attempt at cooking."
Ochaco tried to use a meteor shower of rubble to distract Katsuki. Y/N quipped, "Meteor showers? Is this a sports festival or a sci-fi movie? Next, we'll have aliens invading. Oh wait, that's just Katsuki's temper."
When Ochaco collapsed from her injuries, Y/N's tone softened. "Hey, no joke here. That was a hell of a fight. Props to Ochaco for giving it her all. Sometimes, losing doesn't mean you didn't win something valuable."
### Interactions and Observations
Between matches, Y/N mingled with other students, cracking jokes and making witty remarks. They found a few students from the General Studies Department and offered a smirk. "You guys ready for the next round? Or are you just here for the popcorn?"
Mina Ashido and Denki Kaminari approached. "Y/N, how's it going?" Mina asked.
"Going? I'm just here trying not to get too invested. Last time I got involved, they made me fight a dragon. Or maybe that was just a really angry pigeon," Y/N replied, shrugging.
Denki laughed. "What's your strategy for watching the tournament?"
"Strategy? Oh, you mean other than making sure my snacks are within arm's reach and annoying everyone around me? I'm just here to support my classmates while throwing some verbal jabs," Y/N said.
The students around Y/N laughed, enjoying the comic relief. "Seriously though, watching all this makes me realize that being on the sidelines isn't so bad. I get to see everyone's quirks up close without getting blown up or frozen."
### Observing the Class
As the tournament progressed, Y/N continued to observe their classmates. They noted Shoto's intensity and the pressure from his father. "That kid's got more family drama than a soap opera. If his dad was any more disappointed, he'd probably start throwing tantrums in the stands."
Ochaco's emotional moment after the match caught Y/N's attention. "Look at that. Even the toughest heroes have their weak spots. Who knew? Next, you'll tell me the bad guys cry too."
### Final Thoughts
As the day wound down, Y/N reflected on the events they had witnessed. They saw the determination in their classmates' eyes and the struggles they faced.
"Overall, this tournament's been a blast. And I didn't even have to break a sweat. Well, except for maybe laughing too hard," Y/N said, standing up. "Here's to the rest of the tournament and to not ending up in the hospital from laughing so hard."
They waved to their classmates, who were preparing for the next round. "Good luck to everyone still in the game. And remember, if you're not winning, you're at least providing some great entertainment!"
With that, Y/N made their way out of the stands to the bathroom, their laughter echoing through the stadium as they left. The tournament was far from over, and the battles to come promised to be just as thrilling.
