The following day, Y/N received a message on the holographic screen in the secret underground base. It was their handler, a figure whose presence was always sharp, delivering information with a precision that left little room for error.

"Y/N, we've intercepted some intel. Tomura Shigaraki met with Overhaul in the Shie Hassaikai's underground base. They're discussing a potential alliance," the handler explained, their voice laced with concern.

Y/N, who had been leaning against the wall, straightened up. "What else?"

"Overhaul is cautious, keeping the infrastructure of his base a closely guarded secret. The place is a maze, with moving walls, decoy dead ends, and guards at every corner. It's a death trap."

Y/N's expression hardened beneath the holographic display. "I'll handle it."

The handler's voice sharpened. "Y/N, I'm serious. This isn't just another mission. Overhaul's dangerous, and you're walking into a trap. I don't want you going in there—"

But Y/N had already made up their mind. Ignoring the pleas, they turned off the screen. After all, the handler's warnings were something Y/N had learned to live with, but they knew the risks. And if they were to protect the people they cared about, those risks were necessary.

Suiting up as Deadpool, they concealed their identity completely. The suit's red and black color scheme, once a mark of infamy, now served as a shroud, hiding their true self from the world. Beneath the humor and snark, there was a storm brewing, but that was a storm for later.

Deadpool arrived at the Shie Hassaikai base, their usual nonchalance masking the steely determination within. The entrance was well-hidden, a wooden tile on the first floor of a seemingly ordinary building. A click and a soft whirr revealed the entrance to the underground lair.

Inside, the atmosphere was oppressive, a testament to Overhaul's meticulous nature. Moving walls and decoy dead ends lined the path, with guards stationed in strategic positions. But Deadpool was no stranger to sneaking through fortified locations. With a few quick steps and a couple of unfortunate guards knocked out, Deadpool made their way deeper into the base.

Finally, they were face to face with Overhaul. The man was as cautious as the handler had described, his demeanor cold and calculating. But Deadpool wasn't here to fight, not yet.

"Nice place you got here, Kai," Deadpool quipped, casually twirling one of their katanas. "Ever consider adding a jacuzzi? Or maybe a nice potted plant?"

Overhaul's eyes narrowed. "I don't have time for your games, Deadpool. Why are you here?"

"Oh, you know, just doing a little sightseeing. Wanted to see if the rumors were true about your fancy underground fortress," Deadpool replied, their tone light but their gaze sharp.
