RUDRAKSH'S POV

"Happy birthday bhabhi!" Aarav says, Shivani hugs him and says thank you. It's Aditi's turn now. And I don't even know when Aaryan and Siddhant came here, sometimes I feel they are homeless and just come here to irritate me and eat food. I glare at them and they smirk. They know what they're doing. It must be their idea. It's my wife's birthday, I wanted to spend time with her alone, anyways Maa and Chachi took her away from me the whole day, they wanted to take her to spa so she can relax and trust me I could have given better massage, probably internal massage too. God, I have been waiting for her since evening, she came home late and as soon as I closed the door to our room, these stupid idiots appeared.

I still haven't given her my gift. I am actually excited to see her reaction.
"Okay enough. You had entire day, you could have wished her. The nights are mine. Get lost." I say closing the door, ignoring their comments, Shivani gasps, "why would you say something like that!" She exclaims, "what it's true. Aisa tho the whole day should be mine, but I shared you with them that's all I can do." I say pulling her on my arms, she smiles at me, her eyes sparkling.

"Now, give me my gift!" She gushed, I raise my eyebrow in amusement, "who told you I got you a gift?" She grins, "I know you did. Now don't tease me." She frowns, "just give it to me please." I chuckle at her reaction, "how desperate."

I interlocked our fingers and pull her towards the closet. I have kept her gift in a box, she removes her hand from my hold and goes near it, I watch as Shivani's eyes light up and a huge smile spreads across her face as she sees the black cat inside the box. She looks back at me, her eyes shining with excitement.
"You got me a cat?" She asks, her voice filled with joy.

I nod, smiling at her reaction. "Yeah, you told me you wanted one in your childhood. Your eyes sparkled while talking about it so I bought one for you." She carefully picks up the small kitten out of the box, cuddling it against her chest, I frown at their closeness. Only I can cuddle with my wife. I watch as Shivani showers affection on the kitten, cuddled up against her chest, and a pang of jealousy shoots through me.

"Hey," I say, crossing my arms, "put the cat down." Her head snaps up, she looks at me wide eyed, "what's wrong?" She asks. "We have to set some ground rules." I command.
"Rules?" She questions, tilting her face, confused.

"You can't cuddle with the cat, for starters." I say. She stares at me for a moment, her expression shifting from confused to amused. "Are you jealous of a cat Mr. Malhotra?" She tries to hold back a laugh, but her lips quirk upwards.

"Don't laugh, it isn't funny." I narrow my eyes. She puts down the damn cat, what have I done, I won't share my wife with anyone, especially not a cat.

"Stop glaring at it." She giggles and comes around hugging my torso, "I'm not glaring," I mutter, my arms wrapping around her petite frame, pulling her closer against me. I bury my face in her hair, inhaling her scent again.
