Dark times have fallen upon us. I haven't written anything here for the past few days. I have been facing a lot these days, including my pregnancy. I am on the run, trying to get away from evilness!
I now know Alaric’s true nature! It wasn't me he's after all along! He sought to control the artifacts and harness their power for his own gain. He wanted to marry me to get a hold of what I'm protecting, but when he knew there's no chance between us, he's doing everything to get it! When he learned of my pregnancy, his jealousy and rage knew no bounds. He hunted Lucan and me, driven by his lust for power.
I was with Lucan while running away earlier, but he made me run before him in the middle of running! Leaving me all alone in nowhere. I'm in the middle of the forest, writing beside a big tree.
I saw how Lucan fought bravely to protect me and our unborn child and to protect the thing I'm protecting. But he was no match for Alaric’s evilness. He fought until his last breath, and that was the last thing I saw before I turned my back to continue running away.
I resented everything and everyone, with tears trimming down my cheeks. I questioned the guardians for not guarding me—us—when we needed it the most.
My heart aches with the thought of my beloved, and I only have two goals before they find me. To hide the artifacts and to protect my child.
