Aarav slept soundly on Bondita's lap while the landscape out of the window constantly changed from the mountains to villages . The rhythmic clatter of the train's wheels on the tracks provided a soothing backdrop as Bondita gazed out the window, lost in thought. She absentmindedly brushed her fingers through his hair, her mind heavy with the weight of the revelations and the uncertain future.
Soudamini ne isse janam jaroor diya . Lekin apne aakhir samay tak woh kabhi maa nahi ban payi . Aarav ko iss duniya mein lana uski sabse badi majboori ban gayi thi . kyunki agar woh fir se abortion karwaati toh iss baar uski jaan ko khatra hota . par koi faida nahi hua kyunki Saudamini ki haalat hamesha kharaab rehne lagi , uska cancer dheere dheere badhta gaya Aarav ke janam ke kuch saalon ke baad . maine apni saari jama punji laga di uske ilaaj mein , udhaar bhi liya par cancer ...ek aisi bimaari hai jiska koi ilaaj nahi .
Akhir tak wo Aarav ko ek shraap maanti rahi . usne kabhi Aarav ko maa ka pyaar nahi diya , kabhi usse seene se nahi lagaya , kabhi usse maa ka doodh tak nahi pilaaya . main chahta hun ki tum usse woh pyaar do jo meri beti kabhi nahi de paayi . usse seene se lagakar sona , usse lori sunana , uske sar pe pyaar se haath sehla dena . mere bacche ne kabhi kaha nahi ....par maine uss nanhi aankhon mein udaasi dekhi hai . maa hokar bhi maa ko dhundta rehta tha . uski maa ban na .
Bondita's heart grew heavier , She looked down at Aarav, who slept soundly in her lap, his small hand still clutching her sari. His innocent face, so much like Anirudh's, tugged at her heartstrings, and a massive sadness washed over her .
Aarav had gone through so much at such a tender age. He had been thrust into a world of uncertainty and loneliness, carrying burdens no child should ever have to bear. Bondita's eyes filled with tears as she thought about the hardships he had faced, just like she did. Her mother wasn't present in her life to comfort her and his was never present even though she was alive. She forgotten about her father and he never got to see his father.
Tears blurred her eyesight when she remembered the neutral ....scared look .
"Aarav " Satyajeet called him sweetly when he woke up in a stranger's arms and almost scared to the core of his heart . He jumped apart from Bondita and hid himself behind his grandfather . It was nearly impossible for Bondita to hold down the sob rising in her throat .
" nanu ke saamne aoo beta " Satyajeet brought him to the front and knelt in front of him . His innocent eyes widened realizing the wounds on his grandfathers face but words didn't came out of his mouth . his nanu smoothed the hair out of her face and kissed him on his forehead , his kiss lingered emotionally as if he was saying a goodbye .
" aapko main pari aunty ke baare mein batata tha haina ? " his voice cracked painfully . " jaante ho kaise main kehta tha wo pariyan sacchi muchi aati hain jab sab kuch galat galat hone lagta hai ? yaad hai na beta "
the boy nodded emotionally .
Satyajeet wiped his tears with the back of his hand and held him close by his tiny shoulders . " jaante ho ...kal raat ko pari aunty aayi thi . kehne lagi ...Aarav itna accha baccha hai ki woh Aarav ko apne papa ke paas le jayegi . jahan papa aur pari aunty ne dher saare khilone rakhe hain , aur roshogolla bhi ....jaisi tumhe pasand hai " he said enthusiastically hiding his pain . " jaaoge na ? papa tumhe nahi daatenge , pari aunty bhi nahi daatengi mumma ki tarah . koi tumse kuch nahi kahega . teacher ji bhi nahi maarengi ...bolo jaoge na beta ? "
Aarav shook his head , now silently crying seeing his grandfather's tears . his wish broke his little heart beyond anyone's imagination . It's true he craved for love but his nanu loved him ...he loved him a lot . and he didn't want to leave his nanu alone .
