Manvi is astonished as Ruhana hugs her. A few moments ago, everything was alright-what happened suddenly? Manvi begins to pat her mom's head, trying to soothe her.
Ruhana releases her daughter from the hug and kisses her forehead; the girl rolls her eyes at her.
"Mumma, kya hua? Aap sad ho?" she asks. Her innocent question makes her mother smile.
"Mannu, har baar main sad nahi hoti," Ruhana says. But Manvi is quick to react.
"Par aap ro rahi ho? Sameer uncle ne aap se ladai ki? Ya vo ... vo dusre uncle ne?" she asks, hesitating while referring to Vineet.
Ruhana smiles at her daughter's concern. She pulls Manvi close, and the little girl rests her head on her mom's chest. Ruhana kisses the top of her head and then holds her hand.
"Main khush hoon. Kabhi kabhi jab hum bahut khush hote hain, tab bhi humari aankhon mein aansu aa jate hain. Aur tujhe pata hai na, tu meri khushiyon ki chabi hai," Ruhana says affectionately.
"Par Mannu ne toh kuch bhi nahi kiya," Manvi says, looking at her mom and tilting her head towards her.
"Haan, jaanti hoon. Mannu ne kuch nahi kiya, par tumhe pata hai, you make me happy. Aur ab Mannu, mumma ki tarah sab kuch samjhaane bhi lagi hai, hmm..." Ruhana smiles at her daughter.
