Ruhana Sahni is a single mother. She lives with her daughter, Manvi Sahni. She hates her ex-husband, Vineet Dhawan, who asked her to make a choice in the past. She left him and made a home with her little one, her daughter.

Vineet is in his room sitting on the bed. He's staring at a picture, Ruhana's picture. He's guilty of his deeds. After Ruhana left him, he realised her importance.
"Ab pachta ke kya hoga, Vineet? Samay haath se nikal chuka hain." he hears a voice.
Vineet lifts his head to look at the person. He's Sameer, he's common friend of both Vineet and Ruhana. After meeting Manvi and Ruhana, he visits Vineet.

" You know what, Ruhana is in such a better condition than you. You destroyed yourself." sameer accuses him.
Vineet hangs his head down. He knows he is wrong. Ruhana has been helpful in his family business. She loved him selflessly, and he punished her.
" Tune jo immature harkat ki hai na, Vineet, agar tu vo nahi karta toh aaj teri beti better condition mein hoti. Infact abhi bhi hai.. Ruhana ne usko har achi baat sikhayi hai, wo sab samajhti hai. Teri tarah nasamajh nahi hai teri beti. Lekin ab pachta ke kya hoga? Ruhana tujhe kabhi maaf nahi karegi aur Manvi, wo toh tujhe jaanti hi nahi. " sameer says.
Vineet sighs deeply. He knows his friend is right. Ruhana won't trust him again. Manvi doesn't know that she has a father, for her, Ruhana is everything, her whole world. Vineet looks at sameer.

" Tum batao main kya karun, ruhana ke samne jaane ki himmat toh nahi hai mujhmein." He says.
"Ye tujhe pehle sochna chahiye tha, Vineet! Now, the things are beyond your hand. " Sameer says.
Meanwhile, Vineet's phone rings and they have a meeting. Vineet sighs, he has to do the work as well,as he's been doing since past 18 years. He composes himself and leaves the house with Sameer.
***** Ruhana's home
It's a fine morning, Ruhana is making Manvi ready and getting ready herself. It's a work day and they have to go to the office. Ruhana is instructing her like always, but the girl interrupts.
