I just want to thank everybody who has read The Red Spiral. This story has meant the world to me and I wanted to write about Castiel in a way that nobody ever has before. I love him, dont get me wrong, but I remember reading whump fanfiction about him that was just not enough. So that is why I written The Red Spiral. Each chapter was exactly 1000 words. So it has over 23k words, which is more than any other story that I have ever written!!
I would like to thank my biggest supporter, Karly, for being my main motivation for this hefty novel, and because she voted on every single chapter (go check out her awesome stories !! iikxrlyii on Wattpad)

I have to give the biggest shout-out, though, to a song called Numbers by TEMPOREX. That song inspired me to start this in the 1st place!!
I also have to give my acknowledgements to @drezzdon on insta, his weirdcore videos certainly inspired me and that is how Castiel sees the world in my story!! Certain creepy tiktok edits, the book The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, girl, interrupted (the book and movie) the movie horse girl, Jimmy from supernatural (aka Castiel's Vessel), the play Hamlet, the salad fingers series, a certain episode of the flash, certain supernatural episodes and of course, my friend Maddi whenever she told me about a crazy teacher that she once had in Nevada who thought that people lived in lamps.
I also have to give a BIG Shout-out to these music artists: antihoney, Baby Bugs, New Order, dolleater, Car Seat Headrest, Halsey, Melanie Martinez, love.nicotine, sub urban, maebi, Current joys, crystal castles, grimes, pet shop boys, and boards of Canada.

P.S. There will be a sequel!! It is called Xerces (like the Xerces blue butterfly that went extinct in the 40's, or the song by Deftones, up to your interpretation, really.) I have many ideas for it, but nothing is quite set in stone yet!!
