Chapter - 2

Sanjana's bedroom

All the girls entered Sanjana's room and discussed all the memories that they had in their school life.

Tara, Sam, and Piggy are protective of Sanjana as they know that she is very sensitive and kind-hearted among them and she would not think twice about herself before helping others. They are always like a protective shield around her not allowing people to take advantage of their friend's kindness.

Dadi and Anita also joined them in the room and started lecturing about all the precautions they had to take while living in the dorm.

Dadi and Anita left to make lunch knowing that the girls would have their lunch early today considering the flight timings.

Veer Saxena, Sanjana's grandfather entered the room handed the girls pepper spray and pocket knives, and told them to use them if they felt like their safety was compromised. The girls simply nod at Veer as they very well know that he would not take a no for an answer and they also know that airport security will not allow these inside.

"Okay, let's go for lunch. Papa said he would be here by noon. It's 11:40 already. I will take my luggage downstairs and be ready as you guys already have your luggage bags downstairs", their friends nodded at Sanjana and started helping her get her luggage downstairs.

Veer saw them coming down and rushed to help them with the luggage bags. Even though Dadu is old he is very fit for his age.

In the meanwhile Bharati and Anita started setting dishes on the dining table and they made all the girl's favorite food with their house helps. Chole kulcha, butter chicken, chicken masala curry, roti, dal, and pav bhaji.

"You are the best people in the whole world ", shouted Tara at the top of her lungs and indulged herself with all the food items. All the girls chuckled at her and started serving themselves.

Eventually, Harsh came back from the office and started to have lunch along with the girls.

(At the airport)

All the girl's parents were present and were getting emotional because of their departure. The girls have always been the light of their house.

"Mama, please don't cry. I will take care of myself and I promise you that I will call you every day," Sanjana consoled her mom who was crying her eyes out.

All the father's eyes were moist with pride and sadness as their daughters were stepping into new lives but would be away from them.

"Okay now, you girls are getting late, take care of yourselves and please call us once you have landed there", instructed Tara's father with a hint of worry in his tone.

"Uncle don't worry. I will call everyone and inform them once we have reached the university", assured Sanjana with a smile on her lips.

Soon the girls left and after 3 and half hours they reached the University.
They have signed their names in the register and checked into their dorm room. They informed their parents that they had landed and headed toward their dorm room.

The dorm was surprisingly very spacious and had a small kitchen area and laundry area. There are 2 bathrooms.

They have the same 4 medium-sized beds at each corner with a good amount of space for the study table as well for each bed.

It is currently 8:00 pm and all of them started unpacking and arranging everything neatly. By the time they were done, all of them were hungry.
So they headed to the dorm canteen.

They have a light dinner and retire to their room as tomorrow will be their first day at college.
