Author's POV:
Sanjana's father landed in Delhi as his daughter was crying and seems to be in some sort of pain.
He directly went towards the college authority as soon as he landed and took permission for her attendance and informed them that she would attend online classes and her assignments will be submitted on time as he assured that, either him or anyone related to Sanjana would be submitting it to the management personally.
After dealing with management, he came to the dorms and called Sanjana to come downstairs along with her luggage.
Sanjana along with her friends came down and she rushed towards her father, hugged him and started crying. Her father was the much needed safe space.
Sanjana's father hugged her back and consoled her. He didn't ask her any questions as she needs time for herself. Tara, Sam and Piggy were clueless about her situation as Sanjana wouldn't speak to anyone even after a lot of persuasion.
Her friends would not be joining her as they got classes to attend. Sanjana along with her father started her journey to Mumbai after bidding a good bye to her friends with a tear stricken face.
She cried throughout the journey hugging her father while her father was devastated watching her in the sorrowful state.
They landed in Mumbai and went to their house. Sanjana slept during the car ride somewhere in between and her father carried Sanjana inside and made her sleep in her room once they reached home..
He commanded their family not to disturb her nor ask her any sort of questions. They all agreed and Sanjana's mother, Anita slept beside Sanjana in her room as she was worried.
After few hours Sanjana woke up and realized that she was in her safe space and felt relieved looking at her mother sleeping next to her.
Suddenly the events which led her journey to Mumbai flashed infront of her eyes and she started crying again. Her mother woke up and consoled her with all the sweet words and bribed Sanjana that if she stopped crying, she would make her favorite food. Sanjana eventually stopped and lied in her mother's lap.
"What happened princess, why are you crying? Did anyone misbehaved with you?", Sanjana shook her head in a no but fresh pair of tears started rolling out.
"Is there an issue between Akshath and you?", asked Anita as she was aware of their relationship. Sanjana tensed at the question and Anita got her answer.
"Every issue has it's own deadline. I will not ask what happened between you two, but soon, this phase will pass. Be patient and strong to face such situations. Time will heal everything my baby", Anita kissed Sanjana's forehead and went to make dinner.
Sanjana's POV:
(15 days later)
Mama said time will heal but its nowhere near to the healing process. Even after all these days, the pain is still fresh enough, that it can cut through my flesh.
Pain, such a small word but holds a greater impact. Lots and lots of pain started shooting my body and piercing through my heart. I never expected that break up would be this painful. Heck, I didn't even expect we would break up in first place.
I thought Aksh would understand me as illogical as I sound, but when I look back and think about the whole situation with a clear mind, I was so stupid. Stupid enough to trust the words of a blackmailer.
I sabotaged the entire relationship with my bare hands. But the words that he used to insult me were deep, deep enough that it engraved into my body and started spreading through out like a tumor.
