Akshath's POV:

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the dumb girl Sanjana suggesting the circuit building. Guess she was not dumb after all. When she said that we needed a diagram, I vouched in, and after I completed the drawing I heard Rahul say that she did not have a mobile.

But I instantly knew that she was lying as her face screamed guilty. She is very easy to read. So, she lied to him so that she could not give her mobile number. Interesting!!

After the discussion, we started leaving and I realized I was carrying her notes and I saw her going back into the library hiding from that Senior.

"What is she doing," I heard Jay asking me. "That senior right there, he asked for her number", I said pointing towards the senior.

"Oh, she is already quite popular I see", said Jay. We waited for her to come out and handed the book to her. She just thanked us and left almost running away. Maybe from the senior, I thought.

I told Jay that I was going to meet my grandpa and went ahead in the direction of my home. I reached home after a 2-hour drive. Our university is quite far from our house hence, my grandpa purchased an apartment near the Campus.

I parked my car in the driveway and entered the house.

I saw Shiv and Meera Singhania, my so-called parents in the living room

I saw Shiv and Meera Singhania, my so-called parents in the living room. I ignored them and started walking towards my grandpa's room. "Akshath, how are you? when did you come? How is your college life?", asked Meera Singhania.

They did not give a flying fuck about me since I left home to attend the University but now she wanted a small talk. I am not up for this shit. I just ignored her and was about to leave but then another voice interrupted stating, "It's rude to ignore your elders. Where are your manners Akshu? Is this what we taught you?", Shiv Singhania started.

"You should have realized it by now that you did not teach me anything. Hell, we did not even see eye to eye for the past few years. So you should be the last person talking about teaching manners," I reacted, and in the meantime, I saw Grandpa entering the scene.

"What's going on? Why are you yelling at each other?", asked Grandpa. "Your grandson is ignoring us and giving us an attitude when asked about his well-being", replied Shiv Singhania.

"Shiv and Meera, give me your mobile phones", Grandpa asked. They looked confused and handed over their phones. He clicked on something and showed their mobile screens to them respectively.

"You see that is the call history that you had with your Son. The last time you called your son was 9 months ago to bring the file you forgot at home. Right, Meera? And my dear son Shiv, I do not even want to talk about your call history. It is showing as 2 years ago," replied Grandpa with sarcasm.

"It's not like we do not want to spend time with him Dad, we were just busy with our work," said Mr. Shiv. "You shouldn't have brought him into this world if you were that busy with your career. Realize your mistake before it's too late", announced Grandpa walking out into the garden with me trailing behind him.
