Sunlight poured into the room with the pleasant noise of birds chirping in the distance. Akshath Arjun Singhania whole and sole heir of the Singhania group of hospitals, Singhania Pharmaceuticals, and Singhania Technologies came out and sat on the balcony with a cup of hot coffee in his hand savoring the taste of the bitter liquid.

He is a calm, collected, arrogant, and self-centered person who doesn't give a second glance to anyone. He is a genius with an IQ of 200 about which only a few people were kept informed. He has a rare photographic memory which forces him to remember all the things even when he was a child.

His parents were both doctors and owned a chain of hospitals all around the country. From his point of view, his parents never kept him first,  they always had their career as a top priority. In turn, they are not present with him in the precious moments of his life. It felt like they just had him and handed him over to his Grandfather.

He always used to excel in Everything he did. Be it sports, studies extracurricular activities. He used to watch the parents of other kids attend the Parent-teacher meetings, dramas, Annual days, or even dance performances. But his parents were never there. When he asked them to attend they used to brush him off saying that they were busy and had lots of lives to save instead of indulging themselves in non-productive activities.

He tried very hard to include his parents in his life but they also tried very hard to prioritize their careers in turn pushing the little boy away. He even celebrated all his birthdays alone with his grandfather and his 3 friends. His parents did not even wish him on his birthday.

They never asked him if he had his meals, he even suffered a high fever when he was 8 and his grandfather requested his parents to stay and take care of him as he had to attend the funeral of his business partner and a dear friend of his. They agreed and Akshath was elated knowing that his parents would be staying along with him. But within a few minutes, they got an emergency call from the hospital requesting their assistance.

That day what hurt him the most was, that his parents did not even give a second thought about their son and went ahead leaving him all alone.

He was shivering and hungry as well. He did not take any medicine as his grandfather instructed him to take one after dinner. House helps returned to their respective residence due to the upcoming rain storm.

He was all alone hungry and in a very bad state. There was a heavy rain storm which caused the loss of power supply. The windows and doors shattered with the force of the wind. Heavy thunders were roaring which made him afraid of the entire situation. He cried moving from one room to another room chanting "Mom, please come to me,  am all alone. I will be good and will do whatever you say. Please Mom, am afraid". But no one at the house could hear his cries and pleas.

Eventually, he lost consciousness and was lying in a pool of blood as he accidentally tripped over and his head came in contact with the table edge. When he opened his eyes, he was at the hospital with his grandpa and his friends looking at him worried.

From then on, his hatred for his parents increased 10x fold. This incident has left a deep-rooted scar that is practically engraved in his mind.

He stopped putting in effort, he stopped seeing them too often even though he was under the same roof. He gradually stopped talking to them as well.

Music became his solace, his companion, his treatment. It was like a therapy. He learned guitar, drums, electric bass, violin, and a few other instruments. He eventually wrote a few songs as well.

His grandfather Pratap Singhania became his whole and sole parent in this whole ordeal. His grandfather took very good care of him and loved him since childhood, unlike his parents who were never there for Akshath.

Pratap learned all his favorite dishes, played with him, and always cared for him. Pratap established Singhania Technologies and he worked very hard for that. His interest in computers leads him to a whole new world of entering into software and hardware technology.

Akshath Arjun picked his interest in computers from his grandfather. Pratap always used to explain to him all the computer parts and machinery. Hence, as a result, Akshath started coding at a very young age and found it intruding and fun.

His friends were always there with him since the beginning of his life. They used to attend the same school. Pranay later joined their group in 4th standard but he soon became an integral part of the group and fit right in as a missing puzzle piece.

They are all going to start their college life. Akshath doesn't want to as he memorized everything and told his grandpa that he would focus on business. But his grandfather was against the idea as he wanted Akshath to experience college life. Pratap thought that it would be good if he hung out with people of his age and he didn't want to burden him at the mere age of 18.

Hence, even though Akshath knows the entire syllabus, he has to attend the college. He was okay with attending it as his friends were also there and his grandpa told him that he could support the company from a long distance as well.

His friends Jay, Karthik, and Pranay are all good-looking souls. They were all equally intelligent and had good IQs but never the same compared to Akshath.

They were all going to shift into a new apartment purchased by Pratap. Akshath has his music room and Computers set up in the duplex apartment. They have all had a tour of it earlier. And today the boys are going to shift their stuff into the apartment.
