Always You - Nico di Angelo x Reader (Oneshots)

Lovebirds

A/N - I don't know what I was on when writing this.

This oneshot idea was already in my drafts, so I just had to make it out along the way.

-Third Person's POV-

"Hey Y/N."

"Hmm?"

"Want to play a few rounds with me?" Nico asked, waving the remote control in front of your face.

You rolled your eyes sarcastically, dropping onto the couch with your arm over your forehead, "My goodness! Is it the end, already? My boyfriend is asking me to play with his precious Nintendo-?"

Nico groaned and tossed you the controller, "Don't be dramatic. I share my games with you all the time."

"No, you don't," you excitedly took the controller in your hands, "You're a little, selfish gremlin."

"You take that back!" Nico smirked, "Or I'll kick your butt in this round."

You threw your head back and let out a bark of evil laughter, "You're on!"

Meanwhile, Leo and Frank were hanging out nearby the Hades cabin. They were working on a new route for the pegasi so they wouldn't have a choice but take a dump in their designated litter boxes.

"I'm telling you, Frank," Leo pointed out impatiently, "We gotta put it near the Demeter cabin, they have the best grass for the ponies to graze on."

"But the campers there might get mad..." Frank fretted.

Before Leo could say anything else, he was interrupted by a loud series of yelling.

"WHY, YOU STUPID-"

"TAKE THAT, YOU TERRIBLE EXCUSE OF A-"

"Dude," Leo peeked into the Hades cabin, trying to peer in through the dark curtains from the window as he tugged on Frank's sleeve, "Is Nico and Y/N really calling each other... that?"

Suddenly, a girl popped up from behind Leo and covered his eyes with her palms. "Guess who?" she sang.

"Santa Claus?" Leo replied snarkily, "Pipes, listen. Y/N and Nico are fighting. And they are being absolutely horrible to each other."

"Maybe it's just a misunderstanding," Frank said hopefully, peeking again through the window. Sadly, he was only greeted by another roar of insults.

Piper sucked in her breath, "I don't know what's happening, but I'm on Y/N's side. Those are some pretty impressive comebacks, if I may say."

"Don't just stand there! That's my job," Leo huffed and dragged Piper to the door of the cabin, "Use your love goddess magic and break the fight!"

"Okay, okay..." poor Piper sighed, "Frank, please be my emotional support buddy."

With that, she barged into the room with her nose held high, "YO, IDIOTS! WHY ARE YOU-"

She froze, her gaze falling onto the game going on screen and the remote controller in you and Nico's hands.

Of course, the two of you didn't even notice she was there. Piper soon realized that, apparently, you were not calling each other nasty names, but the stupid video game characters.

Piper cringed and immediately shut the door, meeting Leo and Frank's bewildered expression.

Leo raised an eyebrow, "Well?"

"What happened?" Frank asked.

Piper smiled awkwardly as she began to walk away. She couldn't even stand looking at their faces without being embarrassed about what she was about to do.

"Let's just... let the lovebirds be. Couples fight all the time, right?" she chuckled.
