A/N - thanks so much for 12k reads guys, so here's a long one for y'all!

S/N : show name.

- third person's POV -

"Mom, I don't want to go to this stupid camp!" you groaned yet again when your sweet mother tried to encourage you to pack.

She sighed and sat beside you, patting your back, "Y/N, please. Summer camp's tomorrow and you know it's important for you to go..."

"Why can't I stay with you, instead?" you complained. You felt bad putting your mother through a hard time, but if it wasn't for dad...

"Your father would have wanted you to go," your mother said firmly and stuffed a pair of underwear into a duffel bag.

You looked at the Camp Half-Blood shirt on the floor, wrinkly and clearly unwanted there. "So much for being the daughter of some sea-king..."

🖤💀🖤💀🖤

The moment your car pulled up at the base of the hill, you poked your head out of the window and peered at the top, "I don't see anything."

Your mother gave an amused chuckle, "You need to get out of the car first, dear."

"Do they have air conditioning?"

"Get out there, Y/N."

You waved a half-hearted goodbye to your mom as she drove away. You sighed and looked at the busted-up welcome sign.

Great.

You were about to mentally prepare yourself to make one trip while carrying three bags when a goat-man appeared before you, wearing a friendly, yet nervous, grin.

At first, you didn't register the fact that this dude was furry and part animal waist down. You blinked a few times and chuckled, "Hey, Grover."

He smiled and gave you a big bear hug, "Hey, Y/N. Never saw me without the midst, huh?"

"I prefer you with pants, if I'm being honest."

Grover helped you carry your bags up the hill and into the Poseidon cabin. There, you saw your brother, Percy Jackson. Your history with him was... complicated. It was a shock to the two of you when you found out that Poseidon had another kid.

Nevertheless, Percy charged at you and squeezed you into a hug, giving you a noogie.

"Hey, hey!" you protested, trying to slap your big brother's face, "Get off me!"

"Why should I? Can't a guy give his little sis a big hug?"

"Piss off, Jackson."

Percy chuckled and let go of you, yet not before giving your arm a hard punch, "How's Aunt L/N?"

"My mom? She's alright. I think I gave her a hard time... I didn't want to come back here."

Percy looked at you in concern, "Oh. Why not?"

"I hate all of you."

"Y/N."

You grimaced at Percy's expression and looked away, unpacking your belongings and sighed, "It's so hard to make friends here... I've already been coming back every year and not a single person wants to talk to me."

"Hey, don't say that," Percy quipped, "What about that guy who shared his grilled cheese with you?"

"His friend sneezed on it, so he gave it to me."

Percy fell quiet, looking thoughtful as you put up a poster of your favorite show on your side of the cabin, making your area look cozy to you.

"Wait a minute, is that S/N?" Percy asked.

"Yeah, why?" you raised an eyebrow, holding onto the poster defensively, "It's a cool show. Don't judge."

"No. No, it's not that," your big brother chuckled, "I just know a guy you might like to be friends with."

A/N - whoops, it's a two-parter. Don't worry, I'll post the next part asap :)

Until we meet again next time, goodbye!
