Warning = I shall destroy your feels with this.

-Nico's POV-

"A broken heart is all that's left." I sang softly as I walked down the street.

I took a turn left, "I'm still fixing all the cracks."

I looked at the people around me, chatting happily together, enjoying the holidays. It was Christmas Eve, everyone was trading gifts, building snowmen, and doing their last minute Christmas shopping.

Still, I continued walking, "Lost a couple of pieces when... I carried it, carried it, carried it... home."

I stood in front of an elaborate, black gate. It was lined with beautiful white flowers. I pushed it opened.

"My mind feels like a foreign land...." I entered the field.

Tears were welling in my eyes as I surged on, "Silence ringing inside my head..."

I sniffed softly, wrapping my arms around me and hugged myself tightly, my breath making small puffs of smoke in the cold air.

"Please... carry me, carry me, carry me home...."

I walked even further, the pain is killing me slowly. But I have to do this... I have to.

"I've spent all of the love I saved... we were always a losing game."

I reached my destination and I stopped, closing my eyes and breathing in the cold winter air.

"Small town boy in a big arcade... I got addicted to a losing game..."

Tears were now pouring freely out of my eyes as I stared at the park bench where Y/N and I first met.

I sat down and put my head in my hands.

"Why did she have to leave me?" I whispered to no one in particular.

....why did she have to die?

And with that, I sobbed profusely.

no. no i'm not crying. hey! don't look at me like that.
