"I’m trying to figure it out," Tay said.
New replied, "Why didn’t you use your phone map to navigate?"
Tay sighed, "There's no signal here. How can we access Google Maps?"
New suggested, "Then use a compass to go north or south."
Tay said, "That's what I'm doing, but it’s not working perfectly."
New looked worried. "So, what, we’ll wander around all day? We have no light with us. What happens when it gets dark? I want to find my brother before nightfall."
"I don’t even know if we’re going in the right direction," Tay admitted. "I can’t tell which way is north or south."
New complained, "I’m hungry and tired. If night comes, what am I going to do?"
Tay said, "You wait here. I'll see what I can find for eat."
New looked doubtful. "What food are you going to find here?"
"Any animal is fine," Tay replied.
New wrinkled his nose. "I won’t eat animals."
Ignoring him, Tay headed into the trees. He found a rabbit, hunted it, and brought it back to New.
New’s eyes widened in horror. "Tay, you killed a rabbit! Oh God, it must have been in so much pain. I won’t eat that."
Tay roasted the rabbit over the fire and said, "You don’t have to eat it, but I will. I don’t want to die here."
New turned away and sat quietly. After roasting the rabbit, Tay ate the meat.
"You really don’t want to eat?" Tay asked.
New shook his head.
Tay warned, "Don’t nag me later that you’re hungry."
New still didn't eat. Tay said, "Now get up, we're leaving."
New got up and walked behind Tay. After another hour, New complained, "I feel pain in my stomach, Tay."
Tay turned around and said, "I told you to eat the meat, but you didn’t. Your stomach is empty, which is why you feel pain. Do you want to eat? I brought some with me."
New shook his head again.
"You’re so annoying," Tay muttered, shaking his head as they walked. New clutched his stomach, walking behind him. After a few minutes, New sat down, saying, "I can’t walk anymore. My stomach hurts so bad."
Tay spotted a pond covered in ice. "Can you eat fish?"
New looked skeptical. "Where will you find fish here?"
"Just answer me," Tay said impatiently.
New nodded weakly.
Tay went to the pond, brushed off the snow, and used his knife to cut through the ice. He sharpened a stick, put some meat in the water, and waited. Soon, several fish came to eat the meat. Tay seized the opportunity, spearing two fish and bringing them back to New. He started a fire and roasted the fish.
"Eat," Tay said.
New slowly ate the fish. After finishing, Tay asked, "Are you feeling better?"
New nodded slightly. "A little."
Tay said, "Rest for a moment, then we'll go."
New nodded.
Meanwhile, Arm and his team searched the entire area but found nothing.
