The next morning, New rubbed his forehead, trying to shake off the lingering sleep and the dull pain in his head. He glanced around and noticed Tay in the closet room, changing clothes. The throbbing in his head reminded him of last night's drinking, and he mumbled to himself, "Oh no... I'm in big trouble. What am I going to do? New, you’re such a stupid boy."

New looked toward the open door of the closet room where Tay was still dressing up. Without saying a word, he slowly slipped out of bed, trying not to make any noise, and headed to the bathroom. Any other day, he would have eagerly called out to Tay, wished him a good morning, hugged him a little, and then gotten out of bed. But today, he was too afraid of gat scolding he was sure was coming.

Tay, ready and dressed, noticed the empty bed. "Hin, the medicine is on the bedside table. Take it and rest. You don’t need to go to work today. we’ll talk when I get back," he called out. New, hiding in the bathroom, bit his lip, avoiding a response.

Tay could sense that New was trying to avoid getting scolded and smiled slightly. "Make yourself ready for a punishment," he teased lightly.

Inside the bathroom, New mumbled to himself, "You’re dead, New... Oh, it's fine. He’s just going to scold me for three or four days. Just listen to everything he says, say yes, yes, and everything will go back to normal. No big deal. Yes, that’s it."

Tay called out, "I’m heading to work, bye!"

New, still in the bathroom, panicked at the thought of not seeing Tay for the entire day. "Wait! I’m coming!" he shouted, rushing out of the bathroom. It had become a habit for New to see Tay off every morning before he left for work, and Tay knew that well, which is why he didn’t leave right away. He sat on the bed, waiting for New to come out.

New opened the bathroom door, head down, and walked over to Tay without even looking at him, wrapping his arms around him in a tight hug. Tay chuckled softly. "Now you’re scared of getting scolded, hmm?" he teased.

New didn’t respond. Tay sighed and said, "If I start scolding you now, I’ll be late for work, so you’ll just have to wait until tonight to hear --."

Before Tay could finish, New quickly kissed him on the lips and pulled away just as fast. Tay smiled, rubbing New's hair affectionately.

"I have to go to work today," New finally spoke. "I have an important meeting with a client."

Tay looked at him, concerned. "Don’t you have a headache?"

New nodded as Tay suggested, "Tell Arm to handle it."

But New shook his head, "No, this is something important, and I’m the only one who can explain it since it’s not related to P Knowledge."

Tay raised an eyebrow and said, "Did you even think about that yesterday when you were drinking alcohol, hmm?"

New remained silent, biting his lip. Tay sighed, "Just take the medicine, get some rest, and tell your assistant to reschedule the meeting for the afternoon."

"Okay," New agreed softly. Tay kissed his forehead gently before leaving the room, saying, "Take care."

As New sat on the bed, he mumbled to himself, "What have I done this time?" He suddenly remembered his friends encouraging him to propose to Tay since Tay hadn’t yet. He whispered to himself, "Did I really say that to Tay while I was drunk?"

Feeling the pain in his head intensify, he groaned, "Ugh, this headache. Why do I always get headaches after drinking?" He reached for the medicine and the food that had been left for him, ate a little, then took the medication before lying down again. He messaged his assistant to reschedule the meeting for the afternoon.
