When New returned to the dining room, Arm took one look at him and asked, "Newwie, what happened to you? Your cheeks are all red. Are you feeling sick?"
New instinctively touched his cheek, glancing briefly at Tay before quickly looking away. "Maybe it’s because I was in the storage room. I’ll go wash my face," he muttered before heading off to the sink.
Arm nodded, though he seemed a bit suspicious. Meanwhile, Tay stood there, quietly observing New’s reaction, and couldn't help but smile slightly to himself. However, when he noticed New’s mom and Arm watching him, he quickly composed himself and headed off to New's room with his usual neutral expression.
New’s mom chuckled. "Did you see that? Tay actually smiled. I barely ever see him smile."
Arm shook his head. "Barely? He never smiles! But my brother is so lovely and unique, he could make anyone smile—even someone like Tay."
New’s mom laughed. "You never miss a chance to praise your brother, do you? Even though he’s so stubborn sometimes, always getting what he wants."
Arm shrugged. "He’s not like everyone else. He just cares deeply about people, with a soft heart that no one else seems to have."
New’s mom sighed. "Well, are you going to stay up all night, or are you heading to bed?"
Arm grinned. "I’m going. Good night, Auntie."
She nodded, bidding him good night as she, too, retired to her room.
Meanwhile, in New’s room, New was already lying down on the bed when Tay entered. Tay quietly asked, "Can we continue where we left off in the storage room?"
New, still blushing, turned his back to Tay. "No, I’m going to sleep."
Tay smirked as he climbed into bed beside New. "But you still haven’t paid me."
New hesitated for a moment before turning around, pressing a quick kiss to Tay’s lips, and then immediately burying his face into Tay’s chest to avoid looking at him. "There. I’ve paid you. Now don’t talk about this debt anymore."
Tay chuckled softly. "You owe me a hundred dollars, and you’re trying to pay with just one? That’s not how it works. You need to pay more."
New, blushing even harder, whispered, "Tay, stop it."
Seeing New’s embarrassment only made Tay smile more, and he couldn’t resist teasing him further. "If you’re blushing like this over just a small kiss, what would happen if we did more?" he said, his voice filled with amusement.
Before Tay could continue, New pressed his hand firmly against Tay’s mouth, silencing him. "Okay, okay, I get it! Stop teasing!" New pleaded, his face flushed with embarrassment.
Tay, grinning underneath New's hand, nodded. "Alright, I’ll stop teasing. But I’m still owed that kiss from the storage room."
With a quick, unexpected move, Tay gently rolled New beneath him. New was taken by surprise as Tay hovered over him, his hands caressing New’s cheek. Tay leaned in slowly, softly brushing his lips against New’s. New closed his eyes, responding to Tay's kiss, but Tay playfully bit New’s lip, prompting him to part his lips. Tay took the opportunity to deepen the kiss, slipping his tongue into New’s mouth. What began as a soft kiss quickly became more passionate, the two of them lost in the moment.
When they finally pulled apart, both catching their breath, Tay rolled off New, lying beside him. New bit his lip, cheeks still flushed, before resting his head on Tay’s arm. Tay gently stroked New's hair, placing a tender kiss on his forehead.
