After drinking his juice, New returned to the room and found Tay working on his laptop. Annoyed, New walked over and closed the laptop.

Tay looked up. "Hin, what are you doing?"

New frowned. "I told you to stay home this evening, to span time with you. What’s the point of staying if you're still working?"

Tay sighed. "What do you want me to do? There are so many interruptions here. I can't even spend time with you properly. Now,  I'm working, and you don’t want that either, what should I do?"

Without responding, New took the laptop off Tay's lap and placed it to the side. Then, he sat down on Tay's lap, leaning his head against Tay's chest. Tay instinctively wrapped his arms around New to make sure he wouldn’t fall.

New spoke softly, "Having people around who care for you is a good thing, Tar. We have plenty of time to spend together, so no need to rush or be upset. Besides, you’re the one who’s always so eager." He giggled. "It’s only five o’clock. We can still do something fun, like watch a movie or go somewhere."

Tay kissed the back of New's neck and smiled. "I don’t like watching movies, and I don’t feel like going out either."

New pouted. "Just a moment ago, you were all set  go  work, and now when I say let's go out, you don’t feel like it?" He sulked.

Tay chuckled. "We can watch a movie instead. Sounds like a good idea, right?"

New, still pouting, nodded. "Fine. But I want to watch a ghost movie."

Tay raised an eyebrow. "A ghost movie? You are afraid of ghost! Why would you want to watch one now?"

New grinned. "There’s this funny ghost movie my friend recommended. It’s not that scary, they said."

Tay sighed, "Alright, but don’t ask me to follow you around the house if you get scared."

"I won’t! Can we watch it, please?" New asked, eyes wide with excitement.

Tay nodded, and New quickly started the movie on his computer. He got off Tay’s lap but remained clingy, holding onto him the whole time. Throughout the movie, New kept closing his eyes, jumping back onto Tay’s lap, and nagging him about the scary parts. Tay barely reacted, letting New be as he wanted.

After the movie ended, New let out a big sigh. "That was way scarier than I thought! But it was good, right, Tar?"

Tay nodded, smiling at New’s reactions.

New rubbed his stomach. "I'm hungry now. Can we go downstairs and eat something?"

Tay leaned back. "You go grab something. I’m not that hungry."

New shook his head, his eyes lighting up. "Tar, can you make that dish you made for me when I was sick? Please?"

Tay glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. "Who told you I made that?"

"Ma told me," New replied with a cheeky grin.

Tay sighed. "I’m not really in the mood to cook right now."

"Please, Tar! It’s so delicious! Just today, please?" New begged, tugging on his arm.

Tay shook his head in defeat, letting out a soft sigh. "Alright, fine. Let’s go."

New beamed and grabbed Tay’s hand, pulling him down to the kitchen. As they arrived, the maid approached and asked, "Do you need anything, young master?"

New shook his head, but before he could speak, his mom appeared nearby. "New, are you hungry? Do you need anything?"

New smiled at his mom. "Tar's going to make that dish for me."
