After New finished his conversation, he dropped the call and checked the time on his phone. "I talked for that long? Oh no, why hasn’t Tar come back yet?" He tried calling Tay, but when he turned around. Tay was standing silently, watching him.

Startled, New jumped a little. "Tar! When did you get here? You scared me!"

Tay sighed, crossing his arms. "I didn’t want to interrupt your conversation."

New's heart raced, and he closed his eyes in embarrassment, thinking, Did Tar hear everything?

Tay raised an eyebrow, smirking. "I didn’t know you were so good at gossiping. And the subject? Your own boyfriend."

New bit his lip, trying to cover his tracks. "I wasn’t gossiping! I was just telling him how good you are."

Tay narrowed his eyes playfully. "Oh really? You were saying good things about me, huh?"

New nodded, a little too quickly. "Uh-huh, exactly!"

Tay chuckled, clearly not convinced. "Liar." He grabbed New’s hand, pulling him down as he started tickling him mercilessly, kissing every corner of his face in between.

New squirmed, laughing uncontrollably. "Ahh! Tar, stop it! I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I can’t breathe!"

Tay finally stopped but stayed on top of him, still grinning. New looked up at him, catching his breath. "Get off me! Go take a shower, you stink."

Tay teased, "You were gossiping about me this whole time, so you need to be punished first." He leaned down and kissed New’s lips.

New pulled away, pouting. "That’s enough! Now go shower, I’m hungry."

Tay frowned. "You haven’t eaten? It’s already late, Hin. How many times do I have to tell you to eat on time?"

New shrugged. "I didn’t realize it was getting this late. Ma gave me food in my room, but I forgot to eat."

Tay glanced over at the table, spotting the untouched food. "You’re really trying to annoy me, aren’t you?"

New grinned sheepishly. "Go take your shower, I’ll tell the maid to bring the food ."

Tay nodded and headed to the bathroom while New called the maid to bring food for both of them. After they finished eating, they lay down together. As usual, Tay hugged New, New resting his head on Tay’s chest, the comfort of their closeness lulling them into relaxation.

Tay suddenly spoke, "You’re really not okay with me, Hin."

New frowned, tilting his head up to look at Tay. "What are you talking about? When did I ever say I wasn’t okay with you?"

Tay sighed dramatically. "You were gossiping about me. Are you sure you’re not upset with me?"

New rolled his eyes. "I’m perfectly fine with you. If you actually heard our conversation, I never said I wasn’t okay with you. We were just talking, and for the record, it’s not good to eavesdrop on other people’s conversations."

Tay smiled mischievously. "Oh, I forgot that part. I did try to call you when I came in, but once I overheard you talking, I couldn’t help but listen in. It was interesting to hear how much you like to gossip."

New playfully swatted him. "It’s not interesting at all! You should’ve called me or something when you came in instead of eavesdropping. That’s bad manners."

Tay smirked. "Oh, and my ‘mannerly’ boyfriend gossiping about someone isn’t bad manners?"

New pouted. "We weren’t gossiping! We were just telling the truth! You really don’t let me do anything. You’re way too strict!"
