Marjorie's Daughter

Chapter 2

Marjorie turned to Autumn who was looking at her, she looked at Evie "it's up to you mum if you tell her" Evie says to her mum, Marjorie looked back at Autumn and didn't know what to do "how about you come round to ours with mum" Evie says to help her mum out; Evie could see that mum was struggling with trying to explain to her colleague. Autumn looked at Evie and agreed to coming to your place after with work "when are you due" Autumn asks Evie "I'm due in 3 weeks, due date is 23rd December, but if this little one is like their big sister they might be early" Evie explains rubbing her stomach when she felt a powerful kick to her ribs.

Macey let go of her nana and wandered over to Autumn, she looked at her mama and saw her talking to her nana so she just stood in front of who she thought was a pretty lady and pulled on her pant leg. Autumn felt something pulling on her pants leg and looked down to see Evelyns daughter "hi me Macey who you" she hears Macey speak to her quietly "I'm Autumn" she says to the small child; Autumn was shocked when Macey put her arms in the air to be picked up Autumn didn't know what to do so Macey walked closer and tried to climb up on to her lap, Autumn helped Macey and sat her on her desk so they can both see each other; she was hard faced but Macey did make her heart soften a bit when Macey called her 'Autie" since she struggled saying her full name "how old are you Macey" she asks the toddler "me four" Macey says to her "wow you are a big girl aren't you" Autumn says to Macey.

Whilst Autumn and Macey was talking, Evie and Marjorie was talking and not noticed them interacting "Have you got in touch with Amelia" Evie hears her mum ask her quietly "yeah I'm meeting her tomorrow to chat with her, she was hard to track down, I hope she isn't mad when she finds out what happened with papa" Evie say back to her, she could hear her daughters laughter and looked over and saw Macey laughing whilst Autumn was tickling her; Evie got her mums attention and nodded her head in the direction of Autumn and Macey. Marjorie looked over and was shocked to see her deputy tickling her granddaughter, Evie saw her mum's expression and was confused at why she looked shocked "mum what's with the expression" Marjorie heard her daughter ask her "I've never seen Autumn act like this way" Marjorie said whilst turning to her daughter "ohh" Evie says to her.

They are interrupted by Sorscha walking in "I hear a giggly Macey-lacey" Sorscha says to her wife and mother-in-law, Evie smiled at her wife and nodded over to where their daughter is laughing; Sorscha turns to where her wife pointed and stopped in shock at Autumn playing with Macey, she looks at Marjorie in shocked, Marjorie just nodded her head saying I know to her. "Babe, I may have invited everyone over to ours tonight" Sorscha explains to her wife hoping she wouldn't be mad "that's okay, I invited Autumn round already, I'm guessing they found out about me and Macey" Evie says to Sorscha. Marjorie looks at the clock and sees it half past 6 turning to Sorscha "has everyone left for the day" she says to Sorscha "yeah Marjorie, everyone is gone and all the staff have got their things and have left the building" Sorscha says to Marjorie "Macey sweetie its time to go home" Evie says to her daughter who was playing with the rings on Autumns hand "yeah mama" Macey says to her whilst getting down with the help of Autumn, everyone stands up Sorscha helping her wife of the chair and Marjorie goes to pick up Macey, but Macey turns to Autumn "Up please Autie" Macey asks Autumn.

Autumn looks at Evie and Sorscha to get permission to pick the girl up "if its what she wants Aut then its okay" Sorscha explains to Autumn, who bends down and picks up the child "Macey, we have friends coming over who want to meet you and mama" Sorscha explains to her child whilst leading Evie out the door with Marjorie and Autumn following, "weally" Macey says excitedly "yeah sweetie, nana and Autumn is also coming" Evie explains watching her mum lock up the nursery. Evie walks over to Autumn and reaches for her daughter who leans over to be in her mamas' arms "and we are having pizza" Evie whispers to Macey once she was in her arms "yay" Macey screams "inside voice my little love" Marjorie says to her granddaughter, she watches her daughter walk to her car and strap Macey in her car seat and walks over and hands Sorscha the car keys and gets in the car.

"I have given everyone our address and they are meeting us there; Charlotte is bringing Mia round as well" Sorscha says to both women "okay me and Autumn will follow you to the house in our cars" Marjorie lets her know before everyone got in their cars and headed off. Sorscha and Evie lived only 10 minutes away from the nursery so they pulled up to see cars in the drive way, Evie sees her mum and Autumn pull up behind them, and once they had stopped Sorscha and Evie get out Sorscha goes to get Macey out the back and placed her on her hip.

Evie walked up to the front door and opened it up and entered her home, Sorscha walked in carrying Macey and placed her on the floor and watched as Macey ran off into the house "No running Macey Amelia Doyle" Sorscha heard Evie shout from somewhere in the house, Sorscha let everyone in the house "Marjorie can you show them to the living room" Sorscha asked before walking off to find her wife, who she found in the kitchen getting glasses for everyone "babe, go sit down ill get the drinks" Sorscha says to her wife she watches Evie turn and looks at her and Sorscha noticed she was upset "you okay babe" she asks whilst walking over to her and wrapping her in a hug "yeah, I just remembered what tomorrow is" Evie whispers to Sorscha resting her head on her chest feeling safe in her wife arms, Sorscha sighed knowing tomorrow was the 2nd anniversary of her father-in-law.
