Chapter 15

Everyone looked at Evelyn for an answer "well what do you think they are" Evie asks everyone "they are car keys" Autumn says out loud "yes, they are sis" Evie responds to her "so mum, Sorscha and Charlotte your keys are to your new car, the newest Range Rover SUV in a deep purple colour for mum, dark red for Charlotte and a deep blue for you Sorscha" Evie says and watched as Charlottes draw dropped whilst Marjorie and Sorscha looked excited "Autie your keys are for the SF90 Stradale Ferrari in black and for Mimi a black Ford Mustang GT" Evie finished explaining and getting wide eye looks from everyone mainly Autumn, Mia and Charlotte "you got use new cars for Christmas" Mia says to her sister "yep" Evie says whilst popping the p, like she just told them what the weather was like outside "are you insane Evie" Charlotte says whilst looking down at the keys "you might want to go look outside" Evie says and Autumn and Mia run out and open the door to see 5 cars that Evie had described "how did these get here" Autumn asked walking back into the living room looking at Evie who was feeding the twins "I have my ways" Evie said briefly to them her attention on the babies. Sorscha knelt up and pulled her wife into a soaring kiss which Evie eagerly responded to the kiss "eww mama and mummy kissing" Macey says whilst covering her eyes which caused the adults in the room to laugh "sorry darling" Evie says to Macey who just went back to playing with her new toys, Sorscha walked out the room to excuse herself to nip to the bathroom.

Mia walked into the living room and went to walk towards her sister but when she was one step away the whole room heard a very deep growl and "do not come any closer" was heard, everyone looked toward where the voice came from and looked at Evie who was glaring and when Mia moved again, she growled and stood up in front of the bassinette wrapping the blanket around herself "I said do not come closer" she said again to her sister; Evie watched as Macey got up to walk towards her aunt but she quickly put her daughter behind her. Marjorie walked closer to Mia but stopped when a growl was heard again from Evie "SORSCHA" Marjorie shouted hoping she heard her, Autumn and Charlotte watched in confusion but also concern for Evie they watched as Sorscha ran down the hallway and skidded to a halt in the doorway "what's going on" she asked panicking she looked and saw her wife stood in front of the bassinette and Macey was behind her, she looked at her wife and only saw a protective mama bear "Mia tried to walk towards Evie to give her a hug but Evie growled at her and well this happened" Charlotte explained to her friend who just nodded at her, Autumn and Charlotte watched as Sorscha walked towards Mia and Marjorie and pulled them back; as she did that they saw Eve relax a bit but not much, Sorscha walked towards Evie and pulled her into a hug "it's okay, she wasn't going to her them; she wanted to give you a hug as a thank you" Sorscha said and Mia was shocked to hear the Evie thought she was going to hurt her nieces and nephew.

Marjorie watched as Evie relaxed further and Sorscha moved Evie towards the rocker and sat her down in it, she walked over to her daughter and gently picked Macey up but quickly stopped when she heard a small growl from her daughter but carried on when Sorscha nodded at her to move Macey "can you take Macey upstairs to get dressed please" Sorscha asks one of them and watched as Mia took Macey and walked upstairs with her niece to get her dressed, she watched as Autumn and Charlotte start to clean up the wrapping paper and moved the presents that haven't been opened to one side and carried up Macey's new toys upstairs once the living room was free of wrapping paper. Sorscha turned her attention back to Evie "you okay babe, I think you scared Mia to death" she whispers to her, "I'm sorry, you wasn't here and she got close and I think I was still panicked from before when I couldn't see them and yeah" Evie explains to Sorscha and her mum who has walked over but on the side away from the babies "my love, this happened last time after you gave birth to Macey, nobody but Sorscha could be near Macey, it took you three days for you to allow me to hold her but I had to sit right next to you" Marjorie explains to Evie who just shut her eyes with tears down her cheeks "see, its just how you are when you give birth, throw in the fact you gave birth unexpectedly to a second baby your emotions are high" Sorscha also explains looking up when Autumn and Charlotte walk in with Mia behind them with Macey in her arms.
