They arrived at the birthing centre 20 minutes later, Evie had another contraction on the drive and since Sorscha was driving Evie reached behind and squoze a hand that she could reach which was poor Mia's hand the red head didn't realise how strong her sister was until she gripped her hand. Sorscha parked the car and quickly got out running around to Evie's side and helped her out the car; Mia and Autumn both got out the car and whilst Sorscha was helping her wife they got the bags out the car and carried the bags for them into the centre.

Evie waddled into the centre with Sorscha and walked over to the reception "hi I'm Evelyn Doyle I spoke on the phone a couple of hours ago, my waters have broken and contractions are 12 minutes apart" Evie quickly say to the receptionist "hi I remember you from the phone call, we have a room waiting for you Mrs Doyle" the receptionist says to her with a smile and calls a nurse over who shown them to their private room "we need to hook you up to the foetal monitor Mrs Doyle so we can monitor the heartbeat you can move with the monitor, you have a fridge in the room to put drinks or food in there as well, you can stay in your own clothes and wear what you want. Feel free to use the bath or shower to help with the pains, I will be back in 10 minutes once you are settled" the nurse who is named Lizzie "thank you Lizzie" Evie and Sorscha says to her. Evie walks over to the bed and sits down feeling another contraction starting "babe breath through it that's it" she hears Sorscha coach her through the contraction "12 minutes this might be a fast labour babe not like Macey" Sorscha says to her whispering sweet words to Evie; "I hope so I don't think I could do this for 24 hours again" Evie says once the contraction had ended, she looks at Mia and Autumn and they are sat on the couch in the room, she notices a rocker in the corner of the room and wants to sit in it but waits until she had the foetal monitor on and gets checked "you two must be prepared because these shorts are coming off soon because they need to check to see how dilated I am" Evie says to her sister and Autumn; "we understand your in labour and we will probably see things" Autumn says to Evie and Sorscha.

Sorscha leans over a presses the call button on the side and a few minutes later Lizzie walks in to room with a monitor in her hand "Mrs Doyle I'm going to put the monitor on you and check to see how dilated you are, are you comfortable with the everyone in the room" Lizzie asks Evie "yeah Lizzie I'm comfortable with everyone Sorscha is my wife and this is Mia and Autumn my big sisters" Evie says to Lizzie whilst moving on to the bed and pointing at everyone when she mentions them to her, Lizzie puts the monitor around Evie's stomach and turns it on and connects it to the monitors so she can track the contractions and baby's heartbeat. "Are you okay to remove your shorts Mrs Doyle" Lizzie asks her "yeah, Sorscha can you help me please and Lizzie call me Evie" Evie says to Lizzie whilst Sorscha helps her to remove her shorts; "feet together and knees apart for me Evie" Lizzie says and Evie does as she is asked "you are five centimetres along half way there" Lizzie says once she has checked Evie "this is your second pregnancy isn't it" Lizzie asks "yeah we have a 4-year-old who was born here actually" Sorscha says to Lizzie helping Evie to sit up "I remember now I helped deliver your child" Lizzie says recognising who her patients are, she also knew who Evie was from her work in the science community and her donations to the centre every year.

Evie realises that Lizzie recognised her not just as her patient from 4 years ago but also as the owner of R-Corp, she gives donation to the centre every year and supplies equipment to them as well and making sure they had the most up to date equipment. "I'm going to leave you to settle and keep coming to check on you every hour if anything happens then ring the call button Evie okay" she says to the room "will do Lizzie" Evie and Sorscha say at the same time; Evie gets up and grabs Sorscha's hand and walks to the rocker and makes Sorscha sit down and then sits down on her lap "now it's a waiting game, can one of you update mum please" Evie whispers and closes her eyes to rest she knew this was the waiting game, she feels Sorscha start to rock and she looks at the clock and sees it 6:35 in the morning she has been in labour for 3 hours if not longer "sure I'll do it now" she hears someone whisper in the room before she closes her eyes.

Sorscha watched as Evie closed her eyes and held her close as she rocked back and forth, she hated seeing her in pain but knew it had to happen for their child to be born, her wife was one strong woman and she loved her so much, she was a great mother and one badass boss all her employees loved her and she made sure everyone was treated fairly. Sorscha turned to see Autumn and Mia talking quietly to each other "this is either going to be a quick birth or very long" she says to them "how long was she in labour with Macey" Autumn asks Sorscha "she was in labour for 26 hours" Sorscha says shocking them both with how long a labour could last for Sorscha hears Evie groan and then sits up on her lap in pain, she breathes through it with the support of Sorscha, Mia stands up and kneels down in front of Evie so she had something to focus on "your my sunshine my only sunshine" Mia starts to sing softly and Autumn joins in seeing that its helping Evie concentrate.

"Thank you, how far apart was that" Evie asks "9 minutes" Sorscha says to her softly, "do you want to walk around or sit on the ball" Sorscha says "walk" Evie replies and stands up with the help of Mia; Sorscha follows and lets Evie walk around the room slowly, Sorscha was letting Evie set the pace on how she wanted this to go, she knew Evie would get into a zone and would let her body do what it doing, they are interrupted by a knock at the door and Lizzie walks into the room "how is she doing" she asks Sorscha when she sees Evie bent over the bed and Sorscha rubbing the base of her back "her contractions are a lot closer, this one is the worst so far" Sorscha explains to Lizzie who walks over to where they are stood "Evie is it all right if I check you again" Lizzie asks pulling gloves on when she got Evie's permission "you can stay where you are you don't need to move okay" Lizzie tells her and bends down to check to see if she has dilated in the last hour and half.

"Well things are moving along very quickly you are 8cms dilated" she tells the pair who looked shocked at the information "I say another couple of hours and you will have a baby" Lizzie carries on telling everyone before leaving everyone "Sorscha can you help me to the rocker" Evie asks her wife "sure babe, Mia can you get her other side and Autumn can you put the rest down on the rocker" Sorscha says and everyone helps Evie to the rocker and helping her sit, but Evie didn't sit on the rocker "Autie can you sit there please" Autumn sits down on the edge of the rocker and then watches as Evie gets down on to her knees and leans against her front with her head resting on Autumns chest "Aut, she gave birth like this to Macey it's the only position she find comfortable" Sorscha says to Autumn when she realises what Evie was doing "last time it was Marjorie in the position just to warn you she might bite your shoulder if she can reach, Marjorie ended up with teeth marks on her shoulder" Sorscha carries on explaining to Autumn who looked shocked that the pain can get that bad.

Evie was in her own world she got in her position and didn't move, she was letting her body do the work; she heard Sorscha's voice whispering to her and she just wanted to get her baby out, Sorscha knew that Evie was in the zone and just knelt next to her and whispered to her, Mia was rubbing her back and Autumn was singing softly to Evie and scratching her head. They were in that position for an hour when all the sudden Evie moved and screamed like they haven't heard before from her.
