Marjorie's Daughter

Chapter 13

Sorscha and Evie were relaxing with their newborns a couple of hours later, they both had a nap and had some food; Sorscha got her hand checked and it was going to bruise and had marked but didn't need stitches luckily, Evie had messaged their family to let them know to come round after 1pm explaining to them that they wanted to sleep and rest a bit before people came to visit. Evie was doing skin to skin again with both babies whilst Sorscha watched and took photos, what the couple didn't know was the Autumn and a nurse took photos of both births, the nurse who took the photos of the second birth quickly did when she was called into the room to help and knew the parents would appreciate it.

Sorscha was waiting for when everyone came round, but she knew one thing and that was Evie was not going to let them babies go she had already growled at a nurse, she thought back to when Macey was born and her mum and dad came to visit them at the centre, Evie was sat in the bed and had Macey in her arms; and when Sorscha's mum went to take Macey for a cuddle, Evie looked at her and growled and she did that with everyone apart from Sorscha. "What are you chuckling at babe" Sorscha hears Evie ask breaking her from the memory "I was thinking about when Macey was born" Sorscha explained to her and Evie knew what she was thinking and she had to chuckle with her wife. The couple are interrupted by a quiet knock on the door and Sorscha got up to answer it, when she opened it she saw it was the nurse that Evie had growled at an hour before "sorry to interrupt Mrs and Mrs Doyle but you have some guest here that would like to see you" the nurse says to Sorscha and Evie but mainly Sorscha since Evie scared her "that's fine tell them to come in but can you tell them to be quiet because the baby is asleep, but don't tell them it's twins they don't know about that information" Sorscha explains to the nurse and watches as she quickly runs off to tell their family to come through "she is scared of you babe" Sorscha says to Evie quickly before opening the door again and saw their family stood their "hi mummy" Sorscha hears Macey say quietly from her nanas hip, which was impressive for a 4-year-old "hi baby girl you ready to meet your sibling" Sorscha says "I not a baby mummy me a big girl now" Macey says to her mummy and nods her head at her mummies question "come in everyone but be quiet the baby is asleep" Sorscha say to their family and lets them in the room.

Evie saw her family walk in and saw Macey in her mums arms "hi baby you want to meet your little sibling" Evie asked Macey, Marjorie places Macey down on the floor and she walks over to where her mama is sat on the rocker "hi mama, me not baby me big girl" Evie hears Macey say and felt tears when she heard Macey call herself a big girl "well you might be a big girl but you are mine and mummy's baby girl" Evie whispers to Macey when she was closer; she watched as Sorscha took pictures on her phone and her family sat on the couch, the room consisted of Marjorie, Mia, Charlotte, Macey and Autumn including Sorscha and herself. "Babe can you pick up Macey so she can see a bit better" Sorscha hears Evie asks and walks towards Macey and picked her up so she could see her little siblings, from how Evie was sat everyone only saw the top of one babies head and not both babies, everyone on the couch looked up when they heard Macey gasp and whisper "mama two babies" Evie glared around the room before they made a sound "yeah baby mama had two babies" Sorscha said to Macey, trying not to laugh at Evie glaring at everyone daring them to speak a word she knew that they wouldn't be messing with Evie the new mama but Evelyn Doyle CEO the new mama instead even if half the room didn't know that information.

Marjorie looked at her daughter and knew they would be messing with CEO and not Evie if they made a peep right now, she caught her daughters eye and simply nodded her head at her signalling that nobody would say a world, Evie just smiled at her mum before turning her attention back to Macey "mama when you come home" she heard her daughter ask "hopefully tomorrow morning before you wake up baby" Sorscha says to Macey who simply nodded her head at her mummy, Sorscha placed Macey on the floor and turned to everyone else whilst Evie pulled the blanket down a bit revealing two small heads on her chest "everyone meet the Doyle twins" Sorscha says with a proud smile on her face. Marjorie got up and pulled Sorscha in to a hug and kissing her forehead "Congratulations my loves but quick question" Marjorie asks whilst letting go of Sorscha and giving her daughter a kiss on the forehead not touching the babies or getting to close "but why did you not let anyone know it was twins" she asks and walked back to the couch and pulls Macey on her lap "simply because we didn't know we thought we was only having one baby" Sorscha says sitting next to Evie "baby B was hidden behind baby A, I felt contractions 20 minutes after baby A was born but didn't connect the dots it was a whirlwind and after one hour of pushing baby B was born" Evie followed with a further explanation shocking everyone.
