Sorscha looks at Mia and Autumn "why don't both go back to ours to get some sleep and come back with everyone else, we can't thank you enough for today" Sorscha says with so much emotion to the pair, Mia and Autumn both agreed and quickly left the new parents to relax and bond with the new baby. It was 20 minutes after the birth of baby Doyle when Evie felt a sensation in her stomach making her wince in pain, she had noticed that her stomach was still a bit round but she had just given birth but this pain was familiar to the pain she's just been in "you okay babe" Sorscha asked Evie whilst putting down the baby in the bassinet that is provided "I don't know, I feel like I'm contracting again but not like I was when I gave birth to Macey, this feels like actual birth contractions" Evie says whilst moving to the edge of the rocker where she was sitting; when she moved she felt another pop like sensation "babe I don't know if I just wet myself or what but get Lizzie now" Evie says before screaming in pain trying to stay quiet.
Sorscha was concerned about her with and quickly ran and pressed the call button multiple times, she looked at her wife and pressed the call button again when she sees her wife move to stand up and walked over to the back of it and leant against it, Evie didn't know what was going on she was scared "babe help me please" Sorscha hears her wife whimper out between pain, she walked over "I'm here okay, Lizzie will be here soon I promise" she whispered to Evie; Evie didn't speak she only screamed in pain before slowly turning around into Sorscha and rested her head on her chest. Lizzie came in the room "what can I do to help you ladies" she asks before looking up and seeing what is going on in the room "she said she was in pain and then said she felt like she wet herself and been in pain since" Sorscha explains to Lizzie before helping Evie through another pain. Lizzie walked over quickly to the couple "Evie can you explain what your feeling right now" she asks, Evie looked at Sorscha and Lizzie "pain, but a lot of pressure I feel a lot of pressure" she gets out in a scared tone to both of them, she looked at Lizzie "what is going on Lizzie" Sorscha asks the nurse "I have an idea but I need to check Evie out" Lizzie explains before turning to Evie "I need to have a look between your legs okay" she explains "okay just want the pain to stop" she whispers before screaming in pain again.
Sorscha helped Evie remove her shorts again so Lizzie can have a look, she watches as Lizzie crouches down putting on gloves and having a feel between Evie's legs before looking up at Sorscha in shock "okay Evie when you feel the pressure I want you to do what your body is telling you" Lizzie instruct her "what's going on" Sorscha asks the nurse, she was confused but watched as Evie did as Lizzie said and did what her body is telling her and bares down, Evie didn't know what is going on but she wanted the pain to stop "that's it Evie, keep going you are doing amazing" Lizzie coaches Evie; Evie looks at Sorscha "I need to move" she whispers to Sorscha, Sorscha looks at Lizzie "is she okay to move" she asks "sure where do you want to move to Evie" Lizzie responds "I need to lean on something or someone" Evie says before screaming in pain "how about we get her leant against the front of the rocking chair" Lizzie says to Sorscha "do you want to do that baby, lean against the rocker" Sorscha asks Evie "no, I just want and to feel you" Evie says to Sorscha; Lizzie looks at Sorscha and gets an idea "Evie how about Sorscha sits on the rocker and you sit in between her legs facing forwards, Sorscha if she wants to feel you close; she might want to feel your skin" she quickly says "yeah" Evie says whilst nodding her head.
Sorscha quickly does as Lizzie says and quickly takes her top off and sits on the rocker and brings Evie to rest on her chest, she feels Evie relax a bit before she tenses up and bares down when she gets another pain, Sorscha hears a cry and looks over to the newborn and sees that it has got scared from the loud screams; she wants to go and comfort her child but knew her wife needed her "Sorscha you might want to look at this" she hears Lizzie say to her, she quickly looks down and sees something coming out her wife and realises that it's another baby "baby keep pushing-" Sorscha is cut off by feeling a pain in her hand and sees that Evie has put her hand in her mouth and bit it to stop her screams from scaring the newborn on the other side of the room "babe, can you release my hand please" she asks nicely "NO YOU DID THIS TO ME SO YOU CAN SHARE THE PAIN" Evie screams before baring down and biting her wife's hand again to muffle her screams. Evie felt something slip from her and looked down and saw Lizzie holding a baby, Lizzie places the baby on her chest and she quickly wraps her arms around the baby who was screaming loudly; Evie releases Sorscha's hand from her mouth and quickly looked and saw she had drew blood but not enough for her to need stiches like Autumn "look Sorscha we made two little nuggets" Evie says in shock "I know babe, we are officially outnumbered" Sorscha also says in shock before turning to Lizzie "how did we not know it was twins" she asks Lizzie "sometimes baby B can hide behind baby A and not be detected until birth, it doesn't happen all the time but it does happen like this little one did" the nurse explains "Sorscha do you want to cut the cord on this one" Lizzie continues "how about we let Eve do it if that's okay" Sorscha say to the nurse who simply helps Evie to cut the cord separating them.
Evie was in shock after cutting the cord and holding her second little one that she didn't know about, Lizzie delivered the after birth and calls in a second nurse to do the health checks and make sure the surprise baby is okay; Sorscha helps her wife stand and into the bathroom to shower and helped her into a new set of shorts but Evie refused to put a top or anything on, Evie walked slowly into the room and saw two little bundles wrapped up in different bassinets "can you bring them over to the rocker babe" Evie asks whilst slowly sitting down in the rocker she had just given birth in twice; Sorscha wheeled the bassinets over and gently unwrapped each baby and then picked them up and placed the second born on her wife chests and draped a blanket over the pair and then placed the oldest on her own chest and covered her and the baby in a blanket and sitting down on the couch opposite her wife.
Evie looked down when the baby on her chest started to fuss and quickly helped the baby latch on to her breast, then heard another small cry coming from where Sorscha was sat; she looked over and saw Sorscha soothing the newborn "I think they want a feed" Evie says to Sorscha before reaching out for the baby "are you sure you want to feed both at the same time" Sorscha asked to make sure Evie was comfortable "I'm sure I want to try and breastfeed only first" Evie says to her wife and Sorscha stood up and placed the second baby in Evie's arm and helped get the baby settled and latched onto the other boob "Evelyn Doyle I'm so proud of you; you brought two little nuggets into the world and I'm so in love with you and with out little family" Sorscha says to Evie with tears in her eyes "I love you to the moon my darling and our little family, the moment I met you I knew you was my soul mate, when you asked me to marry you and the day we got married was the best day of my life then we had little Macey and my love for you grew even more watching you with our daughter, and now with these little ones I know my heart will grow even more watching you be the best mummy in the world" Evie says with tears flowing down her cheeks she felt Sorscha gently tilt her head up and kissed her with poured all her emotions into the kiss, Evie responded with the same amount of emotion and gently released her lips, when the babies fussed the couple got both babies burped and changed into baby grows and settled back on to their chest but switching babies this time.
There was a knock on the door "come in" Sorscha called quietly not to scare the baby in her arms, the door opens and Lizzie walks into the room with paperwork in her hand "I have the other birth certificate for baby b" Lizzie says to the couple smiling at them both "thank you Lizzie" Evie says to her nurse "your welcome, I want to let you know that baby A was born at 9:45 on 24th December 2024 and weighed 5 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long, baby B was born at 11:03 on 24th December 2024 and weighed 5 pounds 5 ounces and 22 inches long. Baby B is completely healthy for being a surprise to everyone" she tells the parents "have we got names for baby B" she follows with and the parents look at each other and agreeing on a name for their surprise baby.
