Gentle Heartbeats: Part 3

Jema's POV

"I do.. rememberr you.. who would forget?" She said and looking straight to me in the eye. Napalunok ako the way she looked at me and I can feel my heart beat. 

Nagpangumbaba siya and still looking straight to me and nakipag titigan na din ako. 

"Small world indeed" she said and smirked. 

"Why you suddenly gone that night?" I asked her..

"I don't know.. I suddenly ran away.. I always do run away" She said and I am confused.

Flashback 

I was holding her wallet and I don't know where to find her. There's no Identification and just cash inside it. I saw her randomly in some places maybe I'll find her randomly here. 

I went back to Kiltepan hoping to see her again there. So I woke up early and do my hiking then went back to see  the sea of clouds.. or should I say... to see her. 

I was pretty much excited and ... nervous.. coz tama ako. she went back to the place with the same spot. She was closing her eyers. Wala pa maxadong tao kasi sobrang aga pa. 

I went straight to her at tumayo ako sa harap niya. I was trying to memorize every details of her facial features. 

"Yes?" she said while her eyes were still closed. 

Napalunok ako coz I don't know what to say. 

"Sorry to bother you with your meditation thing.. I was able to get your wallet yesterday.. naiwan mo sa table" I said and she opened her eyes. Her eyes were so sad and somehow.. she still have this emotionless face while looking at me. 

Inabot ko ang wallet sa kanya and she took it. 

"Thank you... I was so worried coz I don't have cash left" She said then she moved a bit and tinap nya ang space ng bato sa tabi nya asking me to sit beside her. This time she seems so calm and mabait.

I sat down beside her and we silently just watch the sea of clouds in front of us. 

"I am sorry if masungit ako kahapon" She said and asking for apology. 

"No worries. okay lang" I said then we were silent again and I saw her closed her eyes again then gumaya na din ako. Dumilat ako and I looked at her again. There's something in her that always wanted me to get close to her. I don't know why but.. my heart beats different when I am with her. 

"It is so rude to stare" she said while  her eyes were still closed. My side eyes bato? then she chuckled. "Why you keep looking at me?" She asked.

"Nothing.. your face was just so familiar" I said and she opened her eyes.

"Ohh... really.. maybe my face is so common?" she chuckled. "Lets go eat breakfast.." she said and hinila nya ang braso ko patayo. 

Mabait naman pala sya baka may nangyare kahapon aside sa hinila ko sya na natumba kami.
