Jema's POV
(still on flashback)
I was watching movie on her Ipad while she was so busy preparing the meal for us. Nakakahiya naman and I insisted to help pero ayaw niya akong patulungin. Maya maya pa I can smell na the adobo.
"Hey... ang bango" I paused the movie I watched and lumapit sa kanya. She took a spoon and grabbed a bit of chicken meat and kunting sabaw at hinipan niya.
"Tikman mo" she said at sinubo saken ang kinuha nyang adobo.
"Ay.. ang sarap" I said and Masarap talaga ang luto niya bigla akong nagutom at natakam. She then smiled and guided me back pabalik sa upuan.
"Balik kana dun.. I'll prepare lang" she said and I saw her transferred a small table sa veranda and chairs.
"Hey!!.. everything is set" she said and lumapit ako sa kanya.
"Wow!! ang ganda dito sa veranda mo" I said and looked at the view outside na parang may makikita kang mga kunting lights sa labas. She guided me to sit.
" Dig in!" she said and we were eating na.
"Bakit ka solo?" she suddenly spoke and asked.
"hmmm... madaming nangyare kasi and I want a break" I said..
"I see.. is this your first time?" She asked again
"Yeah.. This is my first time.. and a memorable one for me" I said and gave her a smile.
"good for you.. and me too.." she said while looking straight to me and that was a bit awkward the way she looked at me.
After we ate, nag kwentuhan lang kami sa mga nangyare this past few days sa mga itinerary namin. The caving.. the falls.. the hanging coffin.. the orange farm etc.
"By the way,, its a bit late na pala.. you can sleep here." she said and offered me na mag sleep over nalang kasi ginabi na pala ako sa accom nya.
I was looking at her and I was a bit hesitant kasi tanda ko isa lang kama sa room. Siguro napansin niya.
"Don't worry.. I am harmless.. I can sleep sa baba.. there's extra beddings naman" she said.
"Sige..." I agreed na din kasi madilim na sa labas and hindi ako familiar so I don't know din paano bumalik sa accom ko.
"Feel at home" sabi niya and she opened her Ipad and saw her watching movie.
"Can I ?" I asked her kasi naka earpods sya baka akala nya tutulog na ako.
"ah.. yeah...sure.." umakyat muna siya sa higaan and umupo kami then we watch a movie sa Ipad niya.
We cover ourselves ng kumot then seryoso kami nanood. Pero deep inside me.. I was so nervous.. yong kabog ng dibdib ko having this moment of so close to her. Parang wala na ata ako sa movie naka focus.. My mind was out of nowhere.
I suddenly looked at her... and I can't help it. Napapalunok ako.
