Jema's POV
Hearing her all explanation made me realize her trauma she went through that's why she can't pursue me. I can really feel the pain in her while trying to overcome it.
"But... i saw you again.. so there's maybe a reason behind always crossing my path with you... and.. i was thinking of.. i should try to push through regardless of what is the state of your heart... if hindi kapa okay or naka move on then... i'll help you move on.. if masaktan man ako sa dulo.. at least siguro.. I did try my best..I really do Like you Jema.." She said and I looked at her. The sincerity in her eyes. I was hoping I could just easily ease that trauma.
I held her my hand and .." I am Jessica Margarette Galanza... Professional Volleyball player.. Single and already moved on" I said
"Huh?" Taka nyang tanong..
"We never had the chance to introduce ourselves soo.. we start over again" I said and I saw her smile.
"I am Jorella Marie De Jesus.. an Operations Analysts.. this was my job when we met in Sagada.. Single and.. wanted to take the risk to pursue you" she said and took my hand.
"pwede naman pala tayo mag usap ng matino" then she laughed
"Ella.. you played in season 77 dbah?" I asked her
"yeah.. we won championship that time.. i did searched your name and you were part pala of adamson" She said
"yeah.. hindi kita maalala.. ang galing ng Ateneo ng time na yon.. wala kayong talo... and I realized you were the one they called Ellavator" I said it.. coz who would thought that she's a volleyball player when I met her sa sagada.. maliit kasi sya este cute ang height
"and you were the queen falcon.. amazing right??" we did had some encounter before but we didn't realize it until this moment." she said.. "gusto mo ba bumalik na sa loob?? medyo lumalameg na and we don't have jacket" sabi niya and I just nodded at tumayo sya para alalayan ako makatayo.
pagpasok sa loob tumambay muna kami sa baba and we watch movie. wala naman training bukas.
"can we watch horror?" I said
"huh? hmmm love story nalang" she said while she was browsing netflix
"yan... yan.. try natin anabelle" I said kasi hindi ko pa yun napapanood and mahilig ako sa horror, suspense, thriller
"sure kaba???nakakatakot yan e" sabiy nya gulping her saliwa
"takot kaba Ella... duwag ka ata e" teasing her
"hindi ako duwag noh.. sayo lang ako naduwag" she defensively said and natatawa ako so she chose anabelle
