"Joker, they're here." You informed him as he smiled. "Wonderful, knew I could count on yeh, lad!" He praised as he ruffled your hair that was left down. People eventually began circling around at the sight of new people.

"Look at this fellow. What an adorable little sprog you brought us. You are a boy, aren't yeh?" Joker asked Ciel as answered on the spot.

"Yes. I've been in service as a page boy for some time now. My name, uh, is Finnian. It's a pleasure to meet you all." He introduced himself with a fake name and occupation as Joker walked up for further inspection.

"That's quite an imposing name for a sprat like you! No worries. We'll give yeh a proper stage name." He reassured your brother before getting real close. "Are yeh really sure that you're a boy, though?" He asked again.

"Quite sure. Yes, quite." He answered quickly as you noticed some of the women began circling around Sebastian, admiring him.

"Well, being adorable won't see yeh through a circus, lad. Got to have talent, too. So, what're you good at?" Joker asked him as he tilted his head and looked at you mouthed 'darts'. "I don't know. I'm good with darts, I suppose."

"Hmm... knife throwing is closest, then. Dagger! Give him some knives." Joker ordered as Dagger picked up some and dropped them in Ciel's hands. "Here ya go!"

"Oh, thank you..." Ciel said unenthusiastically as Joker pointed to the stand you set up. "All right, then. Let's see you hit the target." Joker challenged as he seemed to tense up at the far distance.

"That's cruel! You might as well have out the target in the next country over. There's no way 'is tiny little arms can throw that far." Dagger teased.

"I'm not being cruel in the slightest. I cant put it right next to him, can I?" Joker retorted as you nudged the both of them. "Hush up!" You whispered to the two as Ciel threw the first knife, already looking like it would fall to the ground.

"I wouldn't really do that if I were you, little fellas already fail-" Dagger stopped mid sentence when he saw the knife actually hit the target. "Cor!" Joker and Dagger shouted at the same time as Ciel began throwing multiple knives carelessly but still hitting the target with the help of Sebastian who was using rocks to hit the bottom of the knives to go into the direction he wanted. "Shall I throw another set?" Ciel offwred as he presented his knives.

"Well, that was an impressive feat, ain't no lie! I'd say you're almost as good as Beauty here, on 'is first test he was able to make even a star." Joker praised as Ciel smirked proudly while Dagger inspected the knives.

"You're more talented then I reckon, sprat, but that was only the first part of the audition." Joker stated as he lead you four to the main tent. "We'd like to see your tightrope walking skills!"

"How's it comin'? Don't be shy with those knots alright, Doll? Little chap will be mangled up right good if he fell!" Joker allowed as Ciel looked down. "Isn't there any other test you could devise for me?" He asked as Joker grinned.

"Oh, dear! Not giving up already, are yeh?" Joker teased as he shook his head. "N-no, not at all! I'd simply prefer a diff-" Ciel was interrupted by Joker who shouted again.

"Then stop yapping and chivvy along. Haven't got all day, have we?" He encouraged as Ciel eventually began walking. You saw how he trembled and swayed, being unbalanced as you hid behind your hands.

"I'm too scared to look." You muttered as Dagger was doing the same thing, scared he was going to fall as well. You eventually took a peek by separating two of your fingers for your eyes to see Ciel almost completely fall and everyone almost panicked when he 'regained' his balance.

It was really Sebastian flicking rocks to Ciel's back and waist to balance him. "Blimey! I don't know how he recovered after that!" Joker said in amazement as Sebastian kept flicking rocks to Ciel to get him moving as he reached the end and climbed down.

"That was amazing! I didn't reckon you were going to make it after that first wobble, but here yeh are!" Joker complimented as you smiled with a nod.

"Yes, here I am." Ciel replied as Dagger went up to him and patted his shoulder. "Looks like this poppet passes all the tests then, eh, Joker?" He asked as he shook his head.

"Not yet." He declared as he walked up to your brother "There is something of the utmost importance that you're missing still." He stated as he pointed at your brothers face.

"Yes, I'm talking about... a big smile!" Joker then broke out into a smile, trying to get Ciel to smile as well. "C'mon, then! Smile for me!" Joker encouraged as he looked up at him nervously before at who.

"This is the easy part, don't look so gutted! What's wrong with yeh?" Joker asked as you only used your pointers fingers to imitate you growing into a smile to tease him.

"Go on, big smile! It can't be that hard! Just give us one smile, that's all! Smile, smile!" Joker kept asking before your brother forced a smile and he finished his audition test.

"Everybody! We have some talented new mates joining our great show. Allow me to introduce Black!" Joker introduced Sebastian who was given the name black based on his butler attire. "Hello, I'm Black it's a pleasure to meet you all." He greeted as Joker moved into Ciel.

"Then there's the wee one over here. Say hi to Smile!" Joker introduced as Ciel was caught off guard by the name

"Smi-?" He froze as Joker smiled and presented them. "Go on now, let's give them a warm welcome." He ordered as everyone did so. "Come now, Smile. Wouldn't you like to say a few words to everyone?" Sebastian teased him as he hesitantly spoke.

"Yes, I'm uh, ... so happy to be here." He finally got out "Come on, Smile, smile!"

You were walking around the circus looking for something to do, you couldn't hang around your brother too much or they'd start getting suspicious. You were exiting the main tent when you heard someone playing 'Tom, Tom, the Piper's Son.' With a harmonica.

You walked out to see Jumbo playing it with Ciel, Sebastian and Joker not far ahead. "That's 'Tom, Tom, the Piper's Son' right?" You asked Jumbo after he finished playing.

"Yup, you know that song?" He asked as you nodded. "I'm familiar with it. My previous master and his children loved that song." You lied as you sat down on the crate next to him with a smile.

"Hmm, it's not real popular but good to know that young ones are enjoyin' it." He hummed as you nodded. "So, Doll's told me that you all were childhood friends." You started as he nodded.

"All of us accept for Snake, we needed a snake man and he fit, so he jumped up to first tier quick, took 'bout as much time as you." He explained as you hummed in understanding before moving onto other things.

"They keep on looking at me weirdly and muttering my name, I feel like they're onto me." You told Ciel as you were informing him and Sebastian of what you've gathered.

"Also, one time I overheard them whispering to each other in the main tent. I was over there because I was organizing props and I guess they didn't notice me. That night, all of them except for Snake went out and didn't come back for some time. Snake doesn't seem to know that they're going out at night and they've never told me about anything." You said as you caught your breath,

"Hmm, a missing child's report was filed not too long ago as well." Ciel added as Sebastian frowned. "It's too coincidental, but we still don't have enough information to properly report and arrest them." He pointed out as you nodded, you had left Mikaela with Snake considering it was feeding time and you didn't want him to tell Snake anything if he asked.

"They're all childhood friends except for Snake and seem to be real confidential about the actual troupe leader." You added as they nodded and took mental notes of the information you gathered.
