You stayed up late just to confirm that they were leaving as you heard the ruffling of tents and the door to Betty's cage being opened and her purring, indicating it was Beast who opened it instead of a stranger. You snuck out of your tent and saw as they gathered in front of Joker with their coats.

"Time to be off." You heard order as they immediately ran off, their footsteps barely being heard to regular ears. You thought about running after them but you didn't want to be caught.

"Damn." You muttered to yourself before walking back to your tent, you have to tell Ciel about this, if there is another missing child's poster posted then that would confirm your suspicions.

You has gotten up early as you usually did and started preparing for breakfast as the other troupe members woke up and began helping too. You eventually saw Ciel walk out, poorly dressed as you grabbed a box of potatoes and an empty one with a knife before walking over to him.

"Well, good morning, looks like you slept well. Couldn't even get yourself dressed, huh?" You greeted him as you subtly hugged him while you set the objects in front of him.

"I'm going to have you peel potatoes today, I'll help you too and-" you stopped and saw as Ciel began peeling the potatoes but saw that he was shivering. Sebastian eventually walked out and saw the state he was in. "My, don't you look a fright this morning. Just as I suspected- you can't even dress without help." Sebastian teased as your brother scoffed.

"I was in a bit of a hurry." He turned his head, showing Sebastian the knot he tied for his eyepatch.

"This won't do at all. You'll have a devil of a time untying this yourself with it knotted up so tightly." Sebastian told him as he retied it. Ciel's flatmate, let's call him freckles, and some other girls laughed at him being babied by Sebastian.

"Blimey! Is he your mum? Does he do your washin' too?" Freckles teased as Ciel puffed up in embarrassment.

"No. It's a habit- I mean... he's good with knots." He tried excusing as he whispered to Sebastian. Once he was done Sebastian stood back up, playing his part.

"What is this, Smile? You can't be planning to use these potatoes! You have had 'peeled' them to pieces." Sebastian pointed out as you saw a heap of cut up potatoes mixed with whole peeled ones that you had already done.

"Look! He's right. Those look fit for the rubbish pile." Freckles pointed out as you thought. "I'm sorry!" Ciel apologized as you snapped your fingers. "These are too thin to simply boil like normal potatoes, let's fry them. We can make chips out of these." You concluded as Sebastian nodded.

"I know I saw some fish in the supply tent. Fish and chips should be simple enough." He added as Freckles smiled. "Cool! That's a brilliant idea!" "I'm glad you approve." Sebastian thanked as you took the time to readjust Ciel's scarf and sweater to keep him warm.

You had preferred to eat later so you could sit next to your brother when you heard freckles shout, "Get outta me bloody way!" He then dragged Ciel to get food and sat down next to you as you saw that Ciel only got a piece of bread while freckles had a pile of food.

"You only got a piece of bread? And not even a big piece too." You asked as freckles commented, "That's pathetic, that is. All right, you poor sod. Guess I can share mine with you. So... here, now eat." Freckles grabbed some food from his plate and then put it on Ciel's as you gave some to him as well.

"Thank you, that's very kind of you." He thanked you both. "You better eat now, there won't be much room left when everyone else gets their plate and they'll be fighting for seats." You advised as you ate your food along with freckles who bursted into a smile.

"This is brilliant! I shoulda got more." He exclaimed before putting more food in his mouth with bare bites. "It is good, I suppose." Ciel entertained as freckles spoke between mouthfuls. "He said he was a butler. I didn't know butlers could cook, too!" Freckles commented as you laughed.

"That's because they're not required to. And make sure to actually bite your food, it'll get stuck if you don't at least chew a few times." You told him as he nodded and actually took meaningful bites before scarfing it down again.

"Wow! He even made your bungled potatoes tasty! That's sayin' somethin'!" He commented as Ciel bit on some meat. "Quite impressive."

"Right, I'm done." Freckles announced as his plate was clean. "Time to head to practice, let's go." He insisted as he walked away to put down his plate. "A-already?" Ciel asked. "Last one's a rotten egg!" You shouted as you began running to the tent.

You were currently stomping your way to the showers. You recalled freckles telling Ciel about them and offering to take him there when you remembered about his mark, so you set out to interrupt them and keep your brother from trouble when you ran into him.

"Brother-" You mumbled as he took your hand and ran with you to the wagon area where he curled up with you. Clearly uncomfortable about what happened in the shower.

Your eyes softened at his state and rubbed his back while rocking him, not caring if he deemed it childish or not as his breathes became sharp from the cold. Your clothes were starting to get wet and prompted your breathes to sharpen as well but you still kept your position.

"I overheard the main cast talking to each other again. Talking about 'father' telling Joker that 'they haven't gathered enough sweets for the main event'. And last night I saw them all running out, Snake wasn't there so I imagine he has no idea of this whole thing happening." You informed him as he squeezed your arm in praise considering he could hardly take breathes without getting more goosebumps.

"I'm sorry I didn't get involved sooner, if I hadn't taken my time you probably would've been fine right about now." You apologized as he shook his head. "No... don't apologize, please don't apologize about anything. You're not supposed to." He mumbled as you lightly chuckled.

"You'll both catch cold, my lord." Sebastian told you both as he then draped a blanket around the both of you. "I've brought a change of clothing." He informed as your brother mumbled. "Enough." "Pardon?" Sebastian asked.

"I've said I've had enough! If I have to continue this I swear I shall go mad, I can hardly bear the fact that Y/n has had to deal with it for a month straight." Ciel snapped as he tucked his head into your neck.

"Goodness, my lord. Giving up already are we? It seems I overestimated your fortitude. Allowing such trifles to bother you. Well, that isn't like you at all." Sebastian said.

"Not like me, eh?" Your brother repeated as he held you tighter before standing up. "Indeed, it's not. I'm the head of House Phantomhive and the Funtom company. It's not like me to live like this and allow my brother to as well. Still, there's a task to do." He declared as you stood up with a hand on your hip.

"We'll finish this as swiftly as possible." You ordered as Sebastian nodded his head in understanding. "Indeed."
