To you, whom I hold so dear, I make a white clover promise.

'We had this huge black dog named Sebastian. Me and brother were very scared of him.' A young boy and his brother seemed to round a corner but shrieked and hugged each other as the dog barked at them. 'We were the only ones he ever barked at. No one else.'

"We're not going outside!" The younger whined as he and his brother pushed a large chair to the window.

"We're just going to look!" The elder added as the dog his back with his nose. "That hurt!" He complained as the two eventually adjusted the chair correctly.

The elder was the first one to get on the chair with the help of the dog nudging hin from behind.

The younger eventually got up as well with the help of his brother and the dog as they both opened the window to look outside. Their big brother, Ciel played outside with their cousin and aunt as their mother watched.

The elder let out an awkward cough as the younger cleared his throat twice. The dog suddenly went away as the younger raised a brow. "Sebastian?" He called when he heard Ciel exclaim. "Oh look! It's father!"

The two looked outside the window again to see their father walking toward Ciel and throwing him up in the air with a smile.

'Ciel and brother were twins. But because Ciel was born earlier, he became our big brother. Apparently they looked so alike that mother and father often had a hard time telling them apart. Not me, though. But... When brother turned five he started to cough, like a lot. Aunt Anne said that he was starting to look like mother when she was sickly. And soon after I started coughing a lot too, but a lot worse. We all looked alike and weren't too far in age, but it if us all, I was the weakest and most useless son.'

"That looks fun." The two siblings suddenly said simultaneously before looking at each other in surprise and laughing.

'Father would sometimes bring his friends over. All of them were very scary men.' "Looks like something very interesting is going on! Let's go have a look!" Ciel encouraged as his younger brothers seemed hesitant. "Huh?! I don't think we should..." The twin said as the youngest nodded.

"It'll be fine! Come on!" Ciel insisted as he grabbed his brother's in his hands before running off.

The youngest stood behind the middle child and peeked behind the curtain with him to look at their father conversing with a man.

"Hey, Phantomhive children. You don't have to be afraid." The man told the three with a frown as the eldest took the opportunity to run to his father.

"You heard him, let's go!" He encouraged as the youngest child ran to climb his father's lap as he picked him up and smiled at him lovingly.

"They're scared because you always look angry." Their father teased as he argued. "I'm not angry!" "I know. In fact, you're a very kind reliable guy. Aren't you?" He asked as the mans eyebrow twitched.
