So, where am I now? How are things? I've had enough of the therapy that I was recommended in jail, especially now that I'm free. Consider these questions and mantras overused. To be fair, this was what kept me from breaking out of prison after my first year. Not saying that prison was brutal here, but like all prison, it sure isn't enjoyable.
Y/N: HYAAAA!!!
*THUNDERING KICK!*
The therapeutic sounds of raindrops hitting the floor could be imagined when the young one's blood has done the same. Muteki, one of the many that I have to lead by example, has been brave. He has volunteered to train with me, one on one, as others watch, and I just broke his tooth with the back of my heel.
Training is rigorous, it has to be. Although I may not mean my words, he needs to hear them for encouragement. I must use his rage, his insecurities against him. Only then will he learn to control himself. I take a sigh after the fight, turning my back on him.
Y/N: <What a waste of time.>
I pretend as if I'm taking a towel from the temple servant, a woman who was passing by and like most of the people here, recognized me on the spot, offering us towels for the sweat.
Muteki: GRAAA!!!
I duck my head and lightly push the girl away from the action. She gasps, not falling but luckily catching herself. I know where his head is, so I can rear my head back. He tried to kick me, but he misses poorly, which gives me lots and lots of time to fight back.
*BONK!*
I headbutt him with the back of my head, dangerous, but effective.
Y/N: HYE!!!
*WHOOSH! FLOP!*
I sweep his legs out from behind, twirling myself around to see him on the ground. I offer to help him up, but he is determined. I watch as he twirls on his back and throws himself up onto his feet. Battered, beaten, he still wants to fight. His body may not be Muteki, but his will definitely is.
*GONG! GONG! GONG! GONG!*
Looking over, one of the temple servants, a much older one, is hitting the gong, alerting us to stop what we're doing for Kusho's arrival. I also felt like this fight was over, but Muteki had other plans. Nevetheless, both of us bow to one another as people separate.
Y/N: <You did well, headstrong. You are too arrogant, never let a man's words get inside you...> Ummm... <That might have come out wrong, but you understand.>
Looking back over at Kusho, finally entering, Shen and Kennen both accompany Kusho, right and left. I bow to Kusho, and he bows to me. The rest of the younglings and future government overthrowers, that's what I'm hoping, all leave the training room.
Y/N: <Bros.> Kusho. <What's going on?>
Kusho: You are needed...
Y/N: English... so it must be serious.
Kusho: <Do not keep us waiting, please. Dress up, too, we will be in a meeting soon.>
Kusho turns around and leaves with Shen. Kennen stays behind.
Kennen: <How's training, bro?>
Y/N: <Good, good, some of our warriors are still weak, and glad I am back.>
Kennen: Yeah... <About that... you won't really be here full-time. They are planning on making you one of the chief assassins. You will be here and back most of the time.>
