Monster (Cyno×Tighnari)💟

"I don't want it anymore", Tighnari said with a grumpy expression.

Cyno looked at him in disbelief.

A while ago Tighnari was craving something salty but the moment Cyno brought some crackers,Tighnari changed his mind and craved for something sour. So Cyno had to go out of the house and brought some sour patches from the store. But right now Tighnari openly refused to have them too.

Albedo was at their home playing TCG with Collei.
He couldn't help but laugh at the situation.

"Tighnari... do you even want anything? Or is this just you taking out your anger on me..?", Cyno asked from tiredness.

"Huh!? I told you to bring me something sour an hour ago. An entire hour. The craving went away because you took so long to come", Tighnari answered with a visible sense of annoyance.

"But the stores were closed! And you know how far away our house is from the main city!", Cyno protested.

"Now now, Cyno and Tighnari, collei is still here you know. Don't start fighting", Albedo said and smiled.

Tighnari got up from the sofa and went inside the room with long steps.
Cyno sighed and droppped down on the ground beside Collei and hugged her.
"Ahhh- why is your dad being so cold to me Collei?", he asked with teary eyes.

Collei herself hadn't really seen Tighnari act like that before.

But Albedo had a sad smile on his face. One which Collei noticed first.

"Uncle Albedo? Why do you look sad?", Collei asked. As soon as she asked, Cyno also noticed it.

"Sad?... no I am not sad. Its more of a mixed feeling", Albedo replied. He looked at Cyno and almost as if he was grateful to Cyno, he started speaking again, "Don't be angry because Tighnari is acting like this."

"Huh? No of course. Why would I be? Its probably because of the pregnancy hormones right? Was he like this when he had Collei too?", Cyno asked with a carefree laugh.

But that's when Albedo looked at Cyno with downcast eyes. "No... far from this", Albedo answered.

Cyno sat up properly as Albedo continued speaking-

"Back then he never spoke about any of his wishes. I hardly ever heard him speak at all."

Cyno asked, "What else... what else was he like?"

Collei got up. "I will go to dad...", she said and went inside the room to Tighnari. She looked so sad as she went inside.

Cyno watched her leave and looked back at Albedo.

"She is a smart child"

"Of course. Whose child do you think she is?"

Albedo smiled. But the smile faded away as he spoke again- "back then, after finding out that he was pregnant, he was having a lot of trouble making a proper decision. I watched him breakdown every single day- skip meals and murmer in his sleep about how sacred he was. It was painful for me to see him like that- so much so that I myself suggested him to abort the baby before it was too late. But he did not have the heart to do that. Never once did he ask for his cravings. Honestly... I don't think I want to see him like that ever again"
