Albedo checked the blood pressure and heart rate of Tighnari. Cyno and Collei stood a bit apart with anxious expressions.

Albedo took off the stethoscope from his ears.
"He is alright. No sign of any unusual abnormalities"

Cyno took a deep breath while Collei relaxed with relief.

"Collei, you did a good work by tying the wound on his head with your handkerchief. His bleeding had already stopped because of that. Otherwise he would've needed stitches.", Albedo said and patted Collei's head with a proud smile.

He turned towards Cyno and spoke with a bit more seriousness in his tone- "If possible... don't let him become too emotionally preoccupied. Right now, he is the most vulnerable he can be."

"I know...", Cyno replied with a look of dissapointment on his face. Everything was alright just yesterday.
He even proposed and Tighnari even agreed. He was going to plan out the wedding with Tighnari at night.

And yet...

He dropped Albedo off at the door and came back inside to sit beside Tighnari.

Tighnari opened his eyes when Cyno kept his hand on his head.
"Cyno...?"

"Are you feeling alright?"

Tighnari sat up on the bed. "Yes...", he replied. But he looked so lost.

Collei  came back inside the room with some water and on seeing Tighnari awake, she hugged him tightly.
"Dad! I was so so scared!"

Tighnari hugged her back. But he could not give a proper expression. "I am sorry Collei... for making you worry", as he said those words, his jaws shivered.

"Tighnari... Tell me what happened", Cyno held his hands tightly.

Tighnari looked at Cyno with desperate eyes.
"Lisa... she came to visit me again"

"And what did she say?"

Tighnari took a gulp to swallow down his tears.
"She told me... that she has been engaged to our uncle- Pantalone"

"Pantalone?.."

"Lisa's mother's little brother... but he is only five years older than Lisa."

Cyno had kind of forgotten that Lisa was not born out of Tighnari's mother. But after refreshing his memory, he became very skeptical.

"How can she be engaged to her own Uncle!?"

"That Pantalone... he has had three wifes in the past. Two of them suddenly dissapeard one day while the third one became mad due to his numerous tortures. In these recent ten years... I don't know if he has ruined more lives. And Father... he sold off Lisa to that animal!"

"Its okay Nari! We will rescue her right away and then Everything will be alright!", Cyno said but Tighnari didn't look overjoyed to hear that.

"Lisa... also told me something else"

"What is it?"

"She told me... to give up. To forget about rescuing her..."- Tighnari looked anxious as he said that. Cyno held his shoulders to calm his shivering body.

Collei somehow knew by now- the woman who she met outside the shop had to be Lisa.
So she was Tighnari's elder sister...

"What am I supposed to do Cyno... I don't understand. I am at a loss. All this overthinking will drive me crazy", Tighnari held Cyno and yelled.

"Nari... calm down. Listen to me- you have spent over ten years trying to save her. And now our chances of doing so are higher than it has ever been. We will not give up! You want to rescue her right!? Then stop doubting yourself. Even if she herself says all that... I am sure that everything will be alright."
