Both Tighnari and Cyno meet in the most unexpected possible way.
In the common bathroom of a prison!
Cyno knew that he desires Tighnari the moment his eyes fell on him.
- Where... did he go?
- I can't believe that he left just like that.
- I will...
Tighnari did not wake for almost three days after that. He was completely out of danger but the heavy blood loss combined with the fact that he had just had a baby- everything had made his body very weak.
And the baby girl recovered slowly everyday.
On the day Tighnari finally regained his consciousness, he was finally allowed to meet the baby.
The fact both the baby and Tighnari were safe and out of danger was the greatest miracle. Just that alone was enough to make Cyno feel like his world had been saved from devastation . But he knew the reality was far from that.
Since a lot of things had happened which he couldn't tell Tighnari yet.
He was very angry at himself. Because he had practically abandoned Collei at home on the day the incident had happened. While Tighnari was unconscious, Collei had visited the hospital once with Clorinde. Just the smell of the hospital had made her vomit so Cyno refused to let her come again.
So she had not met Tighnari for three days either. Neither had she taken a look at her little sister.
"Collei... she probably hates me now...", Cyno said with a dissaponted look.
"I don't think so boss", Thoma answered. "I wonder if you realize this... but the only person she hates right now... is herself" _
Thoma's words had deeply impacted Cyno. He couldn't even begin to wonder what was going through Collei's mind. As he stood in front of the NICU, a nurse came outside with the baby tenderly wrapped up in warm blankets.
Cyno's heart mealted at the sight of the little girl. Was Collei also this small once?... and he couldn't carry her around... he took the little girl from the Nurse's hand with a sense of gratitude amd regret intertwined like the threads of his fate.
"She is completely out of danger now", the nurse said and smiled.
Cyno took a better look at the baby. She looked so much like him and Tighnari. His daughter...
His eyes became teary. At the same time his heart felt so much pain. It was not right that he got to hold the baby before Tighnari. He felt the unfairness of the situation.
And just by his expression the nurse could tell what was going on through Cyno's mind. She smiled at him and Cyno wondered why.
"Sir, you should visit your husband. He should be awake by now"- She said and left.
Cyno had got the news that Tighnari was awake. So he immediately rushed with the baby still in his hands. Rushed into Tighnari's room.
