Both Tighnari and Cyno meet in the most unexpected possible way.
In the common bathroom of a prison!
Cyno knew that he desires Tighnari the moment his eyes fell on him.
- Where... did he go?
- I can't believe that he left just like that.

"Ari- Tighnari", A soft and gentle voice called out his name. Tighnari slowly opened his eyes and found himself in the arms of his mother.
"Mother...?"
"You woke up?", she smiled at him and hugged him. "Did you sleep well?"
"I was... asleep?"
She politely patted his head with a gentle touch of love. "Why? Did you have a nightmare?"
Tighnari creeped into his mother's arms and shook his head. "It was a very bad dream mother..."
"Aw... its alright Tighnari. I am here now. Stay here with me. And you'll not have any nightmares anymore"- the woman said and embraced Tighnari. In her warmth Tighnari felt so much at peace. As if sadness didn't even exist.
He was about to close his eyes and doze off in her arms when another voice knocked on his heart.
"Tighnari!! Wake up!"
Tighnari immediately flinched.
"Huh? Is something wrong Tighnari?", his mother asked with a worried face. "Are you not feeling well?"
"Somebody... is calling me...", Tighnari whispered. "I know this voice!"
He immediately got up from his mother's embrace and desperately search for the voice.
His mother looked at him with sadness. "Will you leave me behind...?", she asked him.
Tighnari paused. His mother was right in front of him... and yet the voice that was a calling him made it his heart's desire to leave. Why did he want to leave?
He did not know...
"Mother... can I not go?", he asked.
His mother looked at him and then suddenly smiled again. "No... leave. Its not yet time for you and me to stay together. When the time comes... I'll again embrace you my child. With every drop of love that I couldn't give you while I was still alive... forgive me Tighnari..."
Immediately a sharp pain rose in his heart and the next thing he knew-
He abruptly woke up and gasped for air. He was in a hospital room.
"Doctor! The patient is awake!"
"What!? Increase the level of sedation immediately!", Albedo yelled.
"Continue on with the surgery! Nurse! Quickly bring me the needle!"
It hurted. But he was immediately put back to sleep.
Outside the operation room Cyno sat like he had lost the whole world. His eyes without any shine and a stressed tension on his face.
Thoma came at that very instant in the hospital with a horrified expression on his face. He immediately held Cyno by his collar and pulled his up with anger on his face.
