They say that life is unpredictable.

Happiness amd sadness- neither can last forever and ever.

Thus was something that Tighnari did not believe. Because for his entire life he had been living in an endless nightmare.
So he thought that happiness would never come to him.

Yet Cyno suddenly appeared and entered his life on his own free will. That did not immediately bring him happiness. At first it brought his a feeling of uncertainty.

And next was the feeling of fear.

But when he did fall in love, all other emotions started feeling insignificant.

"That's... The weirdest craving that you've had...", Cyno said in disbelief as Tighnari had just announced that he wanted an ice cream with cold apples and topped with a freaking sandwich with extra cheese.

"What the hell even is that!?"

"Why? You are not going to make it for me?", Tighnari asked with a smirk.

Cyno didn't even know if something like that was edible... wouldn't that upset his stomach? But he sighed. "Of course I'll make it ..." Cyno replied.

"Hehe. This time come home fast Papa", Collei said to Cyno as he was about to leave. "If you are too late, the craving is gonna be gone again like last time"

Cyno left in a hurry cause the craving going away was always the most frustrating thing.

Tighnari sat down on the sofa beside Collei and took a breath of tiredness.

"Are you tired?", Collei asked with a surprised expression. Since it was still just morning.

Tighnari smiled and said, "ya... its tiring to stand for too long."

Collei gently poked Tighnari's belly. "Baby Sibling! Come out fast okay? Dad is having a hard time carrying you inside all day"

Tighnari laughed and patted Collei's head. "My due date is in two weeks. So the Baby will be out soon."

Just the thought of it made Collei excited. "Yes! And then I'll have a little friend!"

The door bell rang amd Collei went to open it. Cyni came in while panting. He was literally out of breath.

"Wow... you just went out and came back so fast", Collei said.

Cyni hurriedly made the food for Tighnari and gave him the plate. "Here you go... your...umm... what do I even call this? Cold apple bread...cream?"

Tighnari took the plate and took a bite. "Ah~ that hit me in a nice way. Cyno! Can you give me some berry jam!?"

Cyno went into the kitchen but there was no jam. He was having second thoughts. But he immediately shook them off and went out to buy some.

After he left Tighnari felt a bit guilty for making him work so much. He kept the food in the fridge for it to remain cold and went to the kitchen. "I guess I should make some tasty lunch. Just sitting around doing nothing but eating isn't my cup of tea afterall"

Collei went inside the kitchen and looked around with her curious eyes. "Dad! Why are you so good at cooking?", she asked.

"Heh... You know? I didn't know how to cook until you were born"- He said and Collei became surprised.

"Wow... Dad? Was I a naughty girl when I was a kid?"

Tighnari gave it some thought. "Hmm... sometimes yes. You hated eating vegetables so much."

"Oh ya I still do"

"It used to annoy me so sometimes I guess I did raise my hand", Tighnari said with a bit of a grin. "And you were always so curious about everything. Like you still are."
