Lilac's P.O.V
The world definitely stopped rotating, and I even believed that the other planets orbiting around the sun stopped also.
My breath had quickened, giving the impression that I'm huffing, seemingly out of breath. Shivers had also taken over my body, jolting my body and thoughts, not like my thoughts consisted of much now.
Landon wants to marry me! My father wants to marry me!
Is it all worth it? Taking his name when I already own it? There will be a generous amount of people wondering why that is also, should I even risk it?
What the hell are you thinking, Lilac! This is your life, not theirs!
Clearing his throat, Landon adjusts himself on his knee, patently uncomfortable with the silence.
His smile falters. "If you don't want this, I will understand, Lilac."
I gasp sharply, accidently burning my throat.
"No!" I bite my tongue. "I mean, Yes! I want to marry you."
A smile breaks out across Landon's face as he takes my hand into his and slides the ring onto my finger. His smile is contagious, spreading onto my face before I even have time to think about my actions.
Especially when his full, ruby lips fit snuggly to mine like a puzzle piece. We prolong the kiss for as long as we can, not caring to breath.
This is the way I want to spend the rest of my life: with my children and my fiancé.

Pain sprouts from my spine and limbs, effectively eliciting a groan from me. I sit up carefully and examine the hotel room.
Landon and I's clothes litter the ground, along with some decor that was neatly arranged before we made love.
Sex last night was something I've never experienced. It was an array of trying new things and keeping up with Landon's wolf.
I distinctly remember him acting just like a wolf would. Sweet nuzzles to my neck, occasional nips to my ears, and he would even let his claws extend, not in a way that could hurt me though.
I also remember him asking me if I had taken my daily contraceptive pill, which I did.
Though he seemed relieved, I could also see the disappointment behind his eyes.
It's normal I suppose. He's an animal and his primal instincts are to reproduce, eat and survive.
With a content sigh, I bring my ring up to admire it.
Every movement I make the ring sparkles, the carefully placed diamonds almost impossible to miss. It's shaped like a flower and colored like your traditional wedding ring. Silvery and white diamonds.
I'm still having a hard time accepting the fact that I'm engaged! It's an exciting but scary feeling, knowing that I'm going to be experiencing married life in less than two years.
"Are you okay?" Landon's groggy voice asks.
I turn around and flash him a smile before laying down. "I'm fine, just thinking," I answer.
He takes my hand into his own and examines my ring. "Are you sure you want to marry me? I don't want you to feel pressured into this."
"Why would I feel pressured? I said yes, I want to marry you, Landon," I reassure. "You're the man I want to spend the rest of my life with."
Landon pulls me into a gentle kiss, his hand gripping my hip. I carelessly throw my leg over his own hip and take his dick into my hand.
"Damn it, Lilac, do you want me to take you again?" He groans.
