Lilac's P.O.V

Ava brushes invisible lint off my white dress with a scowl on her face. "Are you sure you're feeling okay?" She asks for the tenth time this evening.

Groaning, I look out the window to admire the setting sun. "Yes! I was just dizzy. The doctor said that's normal," I tell her matter-of-factly.

In the corner of the room, Victoria is pouring herself a small glass of vodka. She takes a slow sip. "We're just checking, Lilac. Everybody who knows about your pregnancy wants you to carry that baby until your due date," She scolds.

I resist the urge to bear my teeth at her and growl. "Of course they do," I mutter.

All they're worried about is the fact that my father got me pregnant, and somehow, we're treating this pregnancy like it's something that would happen everyday.

They don't really care about my unborn child. If they really wanted to make me feel better, they wouldn't make it so obvious to see the reoccurring questions in their eyes: "How can you have relations with your father? How can you bear his children?"

Who would truly care about me other than Landon?

It's easy to ask how somebody's doing, but Landon always takes it a step farther.

Have you eaten today? How's your back feeling? Is the baby settled correctly? Is the baby making it hard for you to breathe?

A small smile graces my face. He loves me. He truly cares.

"Are you ready for this, Lilac?" Victoria asks while swishing the vodka around in the glass. "You're meeting all the pack members personally for the first time. You have to get to know them and fix the problems they have, and you have to do it correctly. One wrong move and you risk a revolt," She reminds me.

Worry flows through my body as I run a hand through my flat-ironed hair. "I know. That's all you guys have lectured us about for the last week," I reply softly

Ava and Victoria share a look. "Don't stress yourself out too much," Ava tells me.

Forcing a smile, I motion to the door. "How much longer?"

"If you want, you can go find Landon now."

Before Ava can say anything else, I'm out the door, walking towards the room Landon is changing in.

When I walk in, I see him adjusting the cuffs on his tux. His muscles look absolutely magnificent, along with the rest of him.

"Well, don't you just look ravishing?" I ask playfully.

He turns around and flashes me a wide grin. "I could say the same to you." His eyes scan over my body, "you're so beautiful," He whispers distractedly.

I walk to him slowly. "Are you nervous?" I ask hesitantly.

Shrugging, he wraps his arms around my waist. "A little, but they are our pack members. We'll have to get accustomed to them sooner or later," He reminds me.

Fear gnaws at my stomach, but I push it down. I have to be strong for Landon and our kids. As his luna, my number one job is to help and support him.

I smile up at him and peck him on the lips. Our eyes meet. "Let's do this then!"

A single line consists off all thirty-two pack members. There's an array of skin color, hair color, eye color, age, and gender.

There's eight pairs of mates in the pack, meaning that half of the pack is mated. Andrea is unmated.

Landon and I have to talk to all of the pack members. So far, each of them have their own grievance that will be easy to fix with the help of Erik and Thanatos.
