Red
It is all over her, so is her guilt.
My vision blurs, mixing with sharp flashes of the world around me, blinding me, but her bloody body is still visible to me.
She raises her hands in terror as she stares at her hands, the same hands that had touched me last night, the same hands that killed multiple people in a blood lust.
"I didn't do t-this," she stutters in shock, "I wasn't in control of my body!" She wails.
Surprisingly, contrary to her small frame, people ran in fear, screamed as they grabbed their children and mates.
The whole time, I sat there and watched as her personality self-destructed on itself, showing her true, primal nature.
To kill...
"Calm down, Sweetheart," I whisper as I take slow steps towards her. When I finally wrap my arms around her, sobs are raking her petite body.
'It's just a dream,' I want to say to her.
I hush her tears until all that's left is small hiccups.
By then, the blood on her body was all over my own and I had semi-accepted what she had done.
Lilac had killed people...
