SUB-CHAPTER
i currently learnt that i should enjoy my time at home, in bed, alone with my thoughts.
well, i was at home, in bed, alone with my thoughts, until someone calls on the phone. i stand up hesitantly, reaching out for my phone on the nightstand and looking at the name. oh! it was Kurt!
i picked it up and pressed my phone to my ear.
"Hey, Kurt. How did you find my phone number?" i instantly ask, my voice ringing through the phone.
"asked Mrs. Rose, who then asked your mother, who then told Mrs. Rose, who then told me. so then i called." he explains, chuckling from the other side.
"Could've just told me you asked Mrs. Rose, but okay. well, why'd you call? is everything fine?" i ask quickly. i just wanted to get over it! i was enjoying my time at home, with my thoughts alone, when he called.
"Yeah, everything's fine. don't worry." i hear his chuckle from the other line, sighing in relief. "just checking in."
i smile. "well, check in's done. im actually doing something important over here, so please, leave me alone for once." i tell him quickly.
"hm? really? whats that?"
"im relaxing, and you just messed my time up."
"oh, right, sorry, bye!" he quickly hangs up, and i sigh in relief, for the second time that day. i go back to my bed and lay down. the phone rings again. i groan, standing up and taking it for the second time today.
"what? who is it?" i speak sternly into the phone, before hearing Kurt's voice on the other line again.
"sorry. i needed to ask something," he chuckles nervously, and i hear him scratching the back of his neck.
i groan, slumping back down on my bed with my phone. "what is it?!" i speak back into the phone, gripping it with annoyance.
"er, okay, nevermind, i forgot." he hangs up, and this time, i put the phone next to me on the bed.
i waited a couple of minutes for him, and when he didnt call, i put the phone back on the table and relaxed. then the phone rang, again.
