Tyler sighed and grumbled to himself, walking down the streets of the kingdom. Damn.

He didn't catch Taylor at home, only mom. He talked with her, obviously not bringing up...well that. He liked seeing his mom though. She was sweet and nice.

But either way, if Taylor wasn't at home then there would only be one other place she would be.

The flower shop.

Tyler approached the shop, it had been a while since he had seen it. It had worsen pillars and vines growing over it, and a greenhouse attached. He held a lot of childhood memories here. Working with the fields, playing with Logan and Taylor.

It was a happy place.

Tyler sighed to himself, opening the door and hearing the jingle from the bell above.
"Tay?"

There was a thud, and Logan came out from behind one of the shelves. "Oh! Hey Ty! Nice to see you again."

Tyler smiled. "Hey Logan. Have you seen Taylor?"

"I sent her off to the market to get some things." Logan sighed. "Assuming she doesn't procrastinate she should be back any minute."

Tyler chuckled. "She's still slacking huh?"

Logan groaned. "Yes. I get that we're friends, but c'mon she still needs to do her work! Otherwise we'd get nothing done and grandma and grandpa are always on my ass about it!"

"Yeah, how are Mary and James by the way? Are they doing ok?" Tyler asked. He always found them a bit..odd. But they gave him a job, so who was he to judge?

Logan smiled a bit. "They're doing fine. Still the same as always, but fine. How about you? All that knight business can't be easy. How is it working with Ashlyn?"

"One word. Annoying." Tyler frowned. Don't get him wrong, Ashlyn was good, but she just....got on his nerves.

Logan laughed. "It can't be that bad."

Tyler groaned. "It is."

Logan laughed, holding his sides as tears came to his eyes. God, Tyler's reaction was priceless. Tyler sighed.
"So, how are you holding up..? You know from.."

Logan flinched. He gulped, looking away. "I..I'd rather not talk about it.."

Tyler frowned. "Like back then? When you didn't tell me? Why was that huh?"

Logan winced. "Ah...Ashlyn told you?"

"Damn right she did."

Logan sighed. "I...I'm sorry."

"I don't want sorries," Tyler snapped a little, growing irritated. "I want answers."

Logan looked away, back to the pink dahlias he had planted earlier. They were starting to bloom. He fiddled with his hands nervously. "I...I should've told you. I wanted to but..I was scared you wouldn't believe me."

"So you just refused to tell me that you got hurt by that thing?!" Tyler snapped.

Logan glared at him. "Well you're not the easiest person to talk too!"

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

Logan grunted, the flowers slowly closing a bit. "Because I know you! I knew you'd blow up like this!"

"When do I ever blow up?!" Tyler glared at Logan.

Logan scoffed. "How about right fucking now?!"

Tyler paused. He scoffed, looking away. "...whatever. I'm sorry, ok?"

Logan huffed, looking away as well. "...just whatever. Wait for your sister or something."
He went back to his flowers.

Tyler sighed. He felt bad, but he wasn't going to say that. Instead he stood behind Logan, looking at the blooming flowers.
"..your flowers are coming in nice."

"Flattery isn't going to get you anywhere."

"Alright, alright . Sorry. Are these for the anniversary or..?"

"..they're for me, actually." Logan mumbled. "I got anxious again so...I planted these. As a comfort."

Tyler pat Logan's head. "Well..they look good. You'rere still really good at gardening Lo."

"Does that mean your skills have worsened if this impresses you?" Logan joked, chuckling a little.

Tyler rolled his eyes dramatically. "I might've gotten a little rusty.."

He and Logan laughed, enjoying each others company.
