Chapter 6:

The evening was winding down after a day of practices and games, and the team had gathered in the living room to unwind. Kk had set up a TikTok live session, and the room was filled with relaxed chatter and laughter. Paige and Azzi were lounging on the couch, their casual conversation punctuated by playful banter. Aubrey and Ice were seated on the floor, watching the live feed and occasionally commenting on the chat.

Kk, managing the live stream, turned to Paige with a grin. "So, Paige, what's your idea of a perfect date night?"

Paige, stretching out and resting her head on Azzi's lap, responded casually. "I'd say something simple—maybe a nice dinner, a movie, and just hanging out."

She then gave Azzi a sideways glance, her smile turning mischievous. "But sometimes, I think a perfect night could involve a little more... excitement. You know, something that really gets the adrenaline going."

The suggestive undertone in Paige's voice was clear, and she looked directly at Azzi, whose cheeks flushed a bright red. Aubrey and Ice exchanged knowing smirks as they caught the shift in the conversation.

Kk, noticing the change and the reactions from everyone, decided to cut in with a light-hearted tone. "Okay, Paige, let's not get too carried away."

As she spoke, Ice and Aubrey leaned in to whisper to Kk, plotting their next move. The three of them had been trying to find a fun way to get Paige to admit that she and Azzi were officially together, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.

"Hey, Kk," Ice said quietly, "what if we get Paige to spill the beans about her and Azzi being together? Just to see what she'll say."

Aubrey nodded, grinning. "Yeah, let's do it."

Kk glanced over at Paige and Azzi, who were now chatting quietly, and nodded. "Sounds good. Let's give it a shot."

Just then, Azzi got up to go get some food from the kitchen. The TV was on, providing a bit of distraction as Paige followed her, leaving the others to plot in the living room. Paige approached Azzi, who was standing by the turned-off stove, and wrapped her arms around Azzi's waist from behind.

Azzi tensed slightly but then relaxed as she felt Paige's embrace. "Paige, don't start," Azzi said, her voice a mix of amusement and mild exasperation.

Paige's voice was playful as she responded, "I can handle it, I promise. Let me finish what I started."

From the living room, Kk, Ice, and Aubrey exchanged side glances, their curiosity piqued. Deciding to investigate, they quietly got up and made their way to the kitchen, positioning themselves just out of sight.

In the kitchen, Paige was leaning in, her lips brushing against Azzi's neck as she pressed gentle kisses along her skin. Azzi tilted her head back, clearly enjoying the attention despite her initial reluctance. Paige's hands roamed up and down Azzi's sides, her kisses growing more passionate.

Kk, Ice, and Aubrey peeked around the corner, their eyes wide with varying degrees of shock and amusement. Ice and Aubrey were clearly impressed, while Kk looked a bit disgusted but decided to leave them to their private moment.

As Azzi finally turned around to face Paige, her cheeks were flushed with a mix of embarrassment and pleasure. She moved to sit down on the couch, trying to regain her composure.

Ice, trying to keep the mood light, asked with a grin, "So, what's that on your neck, Azzi?"

Paige, not missing a beat, mumbled something with a teasing tone. "It's just a little reminder to Azzi that I'm hers."

Aubrey's eyes widened as she overheard Paige's comment, and she couldn't help but laugh. Azzi's blush deepened as she looked away, clearly flustered by Paige's words.

Seeing their chance, Ice playfully pressed Azzi. "So, are you two officially dating or what?"

Azzi looked at Paige, who had a proud grin on her face. "Yeah, we are," she admitted, her voice soft but resolute.

The room erupted into cheers as Kk, Ice, and Aubrey jumped around with excitement. "Finally!" Kk exclaimed, her earlier disgust forgotten in the joy of the moment. "We knew it!"

Paige wrapped her arms around Azzi, giving her a tender kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for letting me show you how much I care," she said with a soft smile.

Azzi laughed, her embarrassment melting into happiness. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

The celebration continued as the group reveled in the new revelation, their happiness echoing through the dorm. Paige and Azzi's relationship was now out in the open, and the support and excitement from their friends made the moment even more special.

As the night wore on, they all settled into a comfortable, celebratory atmosphere. The playful teasing had led to a heartfelt admission, and the bonds between them were stronger than ever.
