Chapter 26:

Ice had discovered a newfound solace in the library. The quiet, studious environment was a welcome retreat from the bustling demands of her life. It had become her sanctuary, where she could immerse herself in books and escape into different worlds. She had recently fallen in love with reading, finding comfort in the pages of novels and indulging in her favorite show, Gilmore Girls, which she often watched during her downtime.

On a sunny Friday afternoon, Ice made her way to the library with a stack of books and her laptop. She settled into her favorite corner, a cozy nook with a view of the campus garden, and began to read. Her focus was soon interrupted by a familiar face across the room. Micah, whom she had been trying to move past, was standing nearby, his gaze fixed on her.

Ice tried to ignore him, but the discomfort of his attention was palpable. Micah's stare was intense, and she couldn't help but feel a chill run down her spine. She had hoped that distancing herself from him would be enough to forget, but it seemed he wasn't ready to let go.

Later that evening, the girls decided to attend a party at a popular campus house. The atmosphere was lively, filled with music, laughter, and a mix of familiar faces. Ice was initially excited about the event, looking forward to a fun night with her friends. Micah, however, was also at the party, and it quickly became clear that he had an agenda.

As Ice mingled with the crowd, Micah approached her with a friendly demeanor, offering her a drink. Ice, in her relaxed state, accepted it without suspicion. The conversation flowed easily at first, and she found herself enjoying the company.

Paige and Aubrey, however, were watching from a distance. They noticed Micah's presence and the way he was interacting with Ice. Their concern grew as they saw Micah's increasing interest and Ice's seemingly distracted state.

Aubrey leaned in to Paige, her voice low. "Something doesn't feel right. We need to keep an eye on them."

Paige nodded, her eyes narrowing as she observed the interaction. "Let's just be ready in case something happens."

As the night progressed, Micah's behavior became more aggressive. He guided Ice to a quieter part of the house, a dimly lit room away from the main party area. Ice, feeling light-headed from the drink, followed him, unaware of his true intentions.

Inside the room, Micah's demeanor shifted. He started to get physical with Ice, pushing her boundaries as she struggled to respond. The effects of the drugged drink were taking their toll, making her disoriented and weak. Micah was taking advantage of her vulnerable state, his actions increasingly aggressive.

Aubrey and Paige, having sensed something was amiss, decided to follow them discreetly. As they approached the door to the room, the muffled sounds of a struggle reached their ears. Fear and anger surged through them.

Paige, her heart pounding, kicked the door open with a forceful shove. The sight that greeted her was horrifying. Micah was on top of Ice, who lay unconscious and drugged on the floor. Rage fueled Paige's every movement as she charged at Micah, landing a series of punches that sent him sprawling across the room.

Aubrey rushed to Ice's side, pulling her away from the scene. Ice's condition was critical, and Aubrey gently but urgently began to check on her. Micah, now on the floor, was groaning in pain, but his actions had already crossed an unforgivable line.

Kk and Azzi, who had been mingling elsewhere, were drawn to the commotion. Kk, realizing the severity of the situation, started recording with her phone, documenting the scene to ensure that there was evidence of Micah's actions.

When Paige's fury subsided, she looked over at Aubrey and Kk, who were now attending to Ice. Aubrey carefully helped Ice up, her eyes filled with concern. Paige, still seething, turned her attention back to Micah, who was now cowering on the floor.

Kk's video captured the raw reality of the situation, showing Micah's pitiful state and the determined efforts of Paige and Aubrey to help Ice. As Ice began to regain consciousness, she was met with the worried faces of her friends, their support unwavering.

"We need to get her out of here," Aubrey said firmly, her voice filled with resolve. Paige nodded in agreement, her expression a mix of relief and anger.

With great care, Paige and Aubrey helped Ice out of the room and back to their dorm. Kk stayed behind to ensure that Micah was dealt with appropriately, her recording in hand as evidence of his despicable actions.

Back at their dorm, the team rallied around Ice. Paige, still shaken by the night's events, remained by Ice's side, providing comfort and support. Aubrey, determined to see justice done, made sure to report the incident to the authorities, ensuring that Micah would face consequences for his actions.

The next morning, Ice was surrounded by her friends, each offering their own brand of support and reassurance. Azzi and Kk were still trying to process the events, their confusion giving way to a deep concern for Ice's well-being.

As the day unfolded, Paige and Aubrey's anger transformed into a protective resolve. They were committed to helping Ice heal and making sure that Micah faced the repercussions of his actions.

"Is this why Aubrey's always say girls do it the best" ice says stil trying to unfold the situation

"Maybe it's up to you" Paige says as everyone laughs

In the aftermath of the traumatic experience, Ice began to find solace in the unwavering support of her friends. The incident had been a harsh reminder of the dangers that lurked, but it had also strengthened the bond between her and her teammates.

As they all gathered to support Ice and begin the healing process, the experience served as a poignant reminder of the importance of vigilance, friendship, and resilience in the face of adversity. The team's collective strength and compassion provided a beacon of hope for Ice, helping her navigate through the dark times and towards a brighter future.
