It had been almost a year ever since Arin had settled into her dorm life. The once unfamiliar space had become her cozy haven. The walls were adorned with posters of her favorite artists, and her desk was cluttered with personal belongings.
Today was different. There was a buzz of excitement in the air as all the girls (her roommates) anticipated the arrival of the new trainee. It turned out to be Seokjin, the handsome guy from the audition who had caught everyone's eye.

As soon as Seokjin entered the company building, Arin, feeling a sense of responsibility, took charge. She had already asked for permission from Sejin to enter the boys' apartment/dorm and begun leading Seokjin out of the Bighit building.
Even though she was surrounded by the curious gazes of the few boys in the dorm, she still helped her childhood friend arrange his clothes in the wardrobe, placed his toiletries in the bathroom, and made his bed. There was an undeniable chemistry between them, and their cozy friendship blossomed once again.
As Arin and Seokjin finished organizing Seokjin's belongings, a comfortable silence settled between them. She glanced at Seokjin, who was sitting on the bed, running a hand through his hair. "Thank you Rin," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
Arin smiled. "You don't have to thank me."
There was a moment of awkwardness as they both seemed to search for something to say. Finally, Seokjin broke the silence. "So, what do you usually do for fun around here?"
Arin thought for a moment before answering. "Hmm, usually I hang out with the other trainees, or we watch movies together. Sometimes, we even sneak out to explore the neighborhood." She chuckled.
Seokjin nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Sounds fun. Maybe we can do something together sometime. It's been quite a while since we last met up and did something fun."
"Yeah...Anyways, let's go introduce you to the other trainees. C'mon!" she exclaimed.

After reaching the company building and searching all the rooms, they found Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hoseok in the dance room, lost in their own world of rhythm and movement. The room was filled with the energy of youth, bodies moving in sync with the pulsating music. In one corner, Yoongi sat on a bench, tapping his foot to the beat.
"Hey guys," Arin greeted them, "I brought someone with me." She stepped aside, revealing Seokjin, who stood awkwardly at the doorway. "This is Seokjin, the handsome new trainee everyone's talking about, and also my childhood best friend," she said confidently, introducing him to the others.
The room fell silent as all eyes turned to Arin and Seokjin. Namjoon scanned Seokjin silently. Yoongi paused his foot tapping to assess the newcomer. Hoseok, on the other hand, flashed a welcoming smile.
"Well, hello there," Hoseok greeted Seokjin, his voice bright and cheerful. "I'm Jung Hoseok. Nice to meet you."
Yoongi merely nodded, a small smirk on his face and said, "Min Yoongi."
"Hello Seokjin-ssi, I'm Kim Namjoon, the soon-to-be leader of the group BTS. I look forward to working with you," Namjoon said professionally. Arin could feel the tension in the room, a mix of curiosity and indifference. She hoped Seokjin wouldn't be intimidated by the group's dynamic.
Meanwhile, Seokjin stood awkwardly, unsure of how to respond to the varied welcomes. He offered a shy smile, his ears turning red at everyone's attention on him. "It's nice to meet you guys," he replied, his voice barely audible.
Arin could sense the tension in the room escalating. She stepped forward, trying to break the ice. "So, what are you guys practicing? I heard music in here."
Seokjin silently sighed in relief as Arin helped in shifting the attention from him to the guys.
Namjoon replied, "Oh nothing much. We were just practicing dance steps. Hobi was teaching me since I'm not really good at it."
Hoseok clapped his hands together. "Yeah, I was teaching Namjoon-ie."
He then turned his focus toward the newbie and said, "So...wait, can I call you Jin hyung?" Seokjin nodded shyly. Hoseok continued, "You wanna join us for a dance break? We could teach you a few moves."
Arin could see a hint of hesitation in Seokjin's eyes. She nudged him gently, encouraging him to accept. "Come on oppa, it'll be fun. Plus you have to work on your dance skills too, they're not the best right now," she chuckled, trying to sound enthusiastic.
Seokjin nodded, a hint of nervousness in his eyes. But he had heard much about the boys from Arin and the thought of learning from an expert was exciting.
Hoseok grinned, already planning the choreography in his head. "Alright, let's get started," he said, turning up the music. "We'll start with something simple and build from there."
As the music filled the room and Arin recognized the song, she and Hoseok began to move, their bodies flowing in sync with the beat. Arin watched Seokjin's face in awe, through the mirror, as she and Hoseok effortlessly executed complex moves. She knew Seokjin had a long way to go. But if she could work on her dance skills, then so could he. All he needed was time.
But what she couldn't recognize was the clashing emotions rising inside Seokjin when he saw the duo dancing together, their bodies in sync with each other and the music.
