Good Day

The BTS boys were buzzing with excitement. Today was Arin's birthday, and they had planned a surprise party for her. They had been working on it for a few days, keeping it a secret from her.

They had asked Sejin, their manager, to book Arin's favorite cafe, Magic Shop, for the evening. They wanted to celebrate her birthday there. They had also prepared a special performance for Arin, polishing their moves until late into the night. The staff would also record their interaction for the surprise birthday celebration for Arin.

The boys had spent the entire day acting as if they had completely forgotten about Arin's birthday. They avoided mentioning the date, ignored any subtle hints from the birthday girl, and even pretended to be busy with practice.

*Arin POV*

Today was my birthday! But there was no point in celebrating it if no one remembered it. The boys forgot.

I was initially hurt by their apparent forgetfulness, and couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment. However, I tried to shrug it off, hoping that they had simply forgotten due to the tiresome amount of dance practice we had today.

It was almost the end of the day now, still, none of the boys remembered. Even Sejin forgot. 

My train of thought was broken by Jungkook shaking my shoulders and asking, "Noona! Did you hear what I just said?" 

Clearly, I hadn't been paying attention, so I stammered, embarrassed, "H-Huh? What? Sorry, could you repeat, Kook?"

"Sejin hyung asked us to freshen up. We're going out to dinner," Jungkook replied. 

"Oh...Do you know why?" I asked, feeling something weird was going on here. Sejin wouldn't take us out for dinner randomly. 

"No," Jungkook answered, shrugging his shoulders.

We left the practice room and headed out towards our dorm to freshen up and change our clothes. I found Sejin standing at the entrance of the dorm. Stepping forward in front of me, he handed me a bag and said, "Uhh, wear this. We're going for a...a company party." 

I was still standing there, confused, when Sejin gently pushed me inside the dorm. "Come on, quickly! I'll give you only ten minutes!"

I went into the dorm's bathroom with the bag Sejin gave me. I emptied the contents of the bag to find a white t-shirt, a dark denim mini skirt, and white socks.

I quickly dressed up and stepped out. Adding a few cute jewelry items to my outfit, I wore my Converse and headed out to the living room. I found the boys ready before me, so we left the dorm. Sejin was waiting patiently for us outside.
