Currently, I was sitting in my shared studio and I was really mad because I just finished composing a flawless melody but I couldn't think of any lyrics. My brain was all jumbled up right now. I think I needed a break.

I picked up my phone for a distraction and found a message from an unknown number. This piqued my curiosity but I proceeded to read the texts warily.

Unknown: Hi unnie! Wow, you're such a big thing, 
now that you debuted.

Unknown: Btw, this is Chaeyoung, hope u remember
me frm our trainee days...

Oh, it was Chaeyoung who texted me. I couldn't believe I almost forgot who she was. I think it was because I don't see her or any of the other girls anymore at the company building. I don't know why. But I wonder why her number changed.

I quickly saved her new number and replied to her, eager and happy to talk to an old friend after a long time.

Me: Hey Chaeyoung! Its been sooo long.
U changed ur number? Also, where r u now?
I dont see u or the girls anymore at the company building.

Chaebae: Oh i had to change my number cuz of some personal reasons.
Also, I thought u knew abt wht happened to us?

Me: Abt wht?

Chaebae: I'll tell u. Big Hit told us tht their main focus rn is on Bangtan n Lee hyun-ssi. 

so even tho v were supposed to debut wayy earlier b4 u guys, 

they told us tht they dont hv any plans to debut girl grps rn. 

so v all left Big Hit. some of us quit being idols completely 

while others went to other companies.

Me: Oh, thts sad. I'm sorry u guys had to quit cuz of us.
I didnt even know abt this. 😔

Chaebae: Its ok unnie. dont blame urself for it.

Me: Btw, which company r u in now?

Chaebae: YG

Me: Wow!!! 😲 I applied there but I
never got a callback frm them.
But anyways, when r u debuting???

Chaebae: Oh idk. i joined recently, so I hv to do the 
trainee procedure again. for like 3 yrs...

Me: Oh. But I'm sure you'll make it big this time!

Chaebae: I hope so too. anyways enough about me, 
tell me about u...

Me: There's nothing interesting abt me.
What do u wanna know?

Chaebae: Soo, u debuted with 7 boys? thts unexpected. 
i used to think you'd debut with us ha.

Me: Haha yeah, I used to think the same

Chaebae: You dont feel uncomfortable around them? 
do they treat u well? if they dont, then I'm coming there 
n kicking their asses

Me: They're rlly nice n cute boys. 
Plus vr all good friends, even since b4 debut. 
U dont need to kick any1's ass. I'm fine here.

Chaebae: That's good. i wont let any1 bully my unnie, hmpf.

Me: Hahaha, so protective. Anyway, it was good talking to u, Chae.
I also think tht I found sm inspiration for my song's lyrics too.
Also, v shud meet sometime somewhere someday.

Chaebae: Oh its nice tht u found me as inspiration for ur song, 
but i cant relate haha. N yup, tell me when ur free unnie, we'll meet.

Me: Okay bye for now!

Chaebae: Bye unnie!

I felt much better now that I had talked to my old friend after a long time. But I felt bad that the girls had to leave Big Hit because of us. But, I couldn't do anything about that now.

I looked over to my lyric notebook and started jotting down words that I felt would sound good. I concentrated and I didn't even have to whack my brain for lyrics. Words poured out of my head into the notebook. Time to create a masterpiece!
