Our previous two albums, 2 COOL 4 SKOOL and O!RUL8,2?, were all about the dreams and happiness of teens. Here, the songs spoke about young people, mostly students, living without a dream and schools that forced rigid and homogenous thoughts onto their students.
But our second mini album, 'SKOOL LUV AFFAIR', which was released today morning, still continued focusing on school and teens, but now it also focused on the love that blossomed during school, as hinted by the title.
This album was a part of our "School Trilogy" project that discussed the topics of interest to teens of our age—dreams, happiness, and love. We all directly participated in the making of the songs. This also ensured that our songs reflected the reality of ARMY of our generation and age.
The album consists of 10 tracks, out of which 'Boy In Luv' was our title track and 'Just One Day' was our single. Out of the ten tracks, I produced one amazing song, 'Tomorrow', but Bang PD had told me to give the song and all my producing and songwriting credits to Yoongi. His reason for this was because he thought fans wouldn't be ready for a female songwriter and it would be a big risk for the company to take. But he decided to compensate my loss of credits by giving me more verses in our rap songs in this album. So I guess, I can't complain much.
A/N: Previous album was kind of gloomy and filled with hateful stuff, according to me. So I will be brightening up this album and well, as per the name of the album, coincidentally, our Arin might also fall in love with some or the other member....Hmm interesting. Keep reading to know!
