Few days later

Bang Sihyuk entered the hospital room, noticing all the boys already sitting along the walls before his attention went to Arin. He came over to her bed, and spoke in a comforting tone, "Hello there. How are you feeling, Arin-ah?"

Arin managed to give him a small smile, and responded with a small voice, "I'm doing alright. Some of the pain has subsided, the wounds don't look that bad anymore either. I'm more worried about the fact that...that I can't dance for a few months now."

Bang PD nodded to this, his expression turning serious. He understood her worries, and said gently, "I know this must be hard for you, being unable to perform for such a long period of time. But there is no other way. And do not worry about the public, they will understand. The boys will make up for your missing presence, okay?"

Arin was just about to protest when Bang PD interrupted her and shook his head. "No, don't say anything. Please understand, Arin-ah, this is not up to debate. You are in no condition to perform. You have to heal, and that is your priority right now. The boys will manage just fine in the upcoming months."

She sighed then nodded disappointingly. "Fine, but you have to allow me to compose music. I can still do that, right? Please?~" she begged.

Bang PD thought for a moment before nodding. He knew that music production wouldn't put too much of a toll on her body or health, so it was fine. "Okay, fine. You can compose music if you want."

"Thank you. Also, what statement will we give the fans?" Arin asked curiously.

Bang PD responded to her question immediately, "We'll make a statement and explain that you will not be able to perform due to an injury. I'll not give out too many details, but let them know that you will make a full recovery. Don't worry, they'll understand, they love you very much. They'll definitely wish for you to get well fast."

He paused, then spoke up once again after remembering something, "Oh, and also, you all will be going to Los Angeles in June or July."

Hearing this, the members' eyes widened and everyone looked at each others faces. Namjoon asked, "LA? What for? Do we even have enough money for that?"

Bang PD responded. "Well, you'll be appearing on a show called 'American Hustle Life' where you'll be taught more about actual hiphop. So you guys can learn about hiphop from hiphop stars, go sightseeing and even have fun. You'll be staying for two months or even longer. I'll be renting out a beautiful home there with a huge swimming pool and a really big living room," he said the last part jokingly.

The guys all nodded at that, but they were nervous at the thought of staying in LA for a long period of time. In their minds, they also wondered about what to do with Arin. She wouldn't be able to go, right?

As if Bang PD read their minds, he explained, "We will discuss the details of when exactly we are going later. But, just know that Arin will go with you."

Arin looked over to Bang PD and asked, "I will?"

Bang PD nodded. "Of course you will come. We won't leave you behind. Unless you don't want to?" he teased.

Her eyes widened and she shook her head. "No, no, I want to go!"

He chuckled. "There is only one thing you aren't allowed to do though."

Arin asked, "Which is...?"

Bang PD replied, "You cannot participate in any dance practice, or any of the performances. No dancing, no stressing out your body. The only thing you can and will do is compose and sing. And you will rest. Do you understand?"

Arin nodded to this, but she felt a bit frustrated. She knew she would have to watch everyone dance and perform without her. It would be torture for her to see them do so, knowing she'd just be stuck on the side, just watching them perform.

Bang PD saw the frown on her face, and he understood the cause of if. He softly patted her head and said gently, "I know it will be hard. I know you want to be dancing together with the boys on stage. But you need to focus on your recovery, not on performing. Understood? I don't want you to strain your body more than it already is."

The boys, who had been silently listening to the conversation, felt a bit pained by seeing the look on Arin's face. They felt bad, just like Bang PD, but couldn't do much about the situation.

As the boys sat in silence trying to keep their emotions at bay, suddenly Hoseok spoke up, "But...it's going to be so hard for Lulu to not perform."

The boys agreed with him, and Bang PD nodded. "I know it's going to be difficult. But we can't do anything about it. She has to let her body heal. She'll be able to perform again when she's fully recovered, okay?"

None of the members responded. The room was filled with silence, as everyone was deep in thought, especially Arin. It was still hard to grasp that she wouldn't be able to perform for months.

Bang PD spoke up again, wanting to lighten the mood a bit, "Anyways, guys, your first anniversary is coming up pretty soon. Can you believe its almost been a year since you all debuted?"

The members nodded to the truth of this statement, and Taehyung spoke up now, "Are we going to hold a celebration or something?"

Bang PD nodded. "Yes, we're planning to hold a surprise concert in LA."

The group was suprised by this, and Jimin spoke up, "Surprise concert?! What do you mean, hyung?"

"Yup. We're going to hold an unannounced concert in a local venue in LA, to celebrate your first year as a group." Bang PD replied, clearly proud of this plan.

"Woah, that's so cool! Thank you PD-nim!" Arin exclaimed.

"Of course! You guys have worked so hard in your first year, and this is the least that I can do," Bang PD replied. The members clapped while shouting praises for their CEO.
