*Arin POV*

As I bid my parents farewell, I told them I'd keep in touch with them and try to visit during the holidays. I took the train to Seoul and reached in about an hour. I got off the train and started walking towards the company building.

Inside the building, I met Sejin waiting for me. "Hello Arin-ah, nice to see you again. I'm glad you made this decision. I know it was tough but treat us all as your family and this building as your home while you're here," he soothed me. I smiled and nodded.

"Okay then, let's get to the dorms," he started, leading me out the company building, and towards the apartments. "I'm gonna give you the rules then. First off, you'll have a packed schedule. Classes, practice, you name it. Got to be punctual, okay? Curfew's at nine. Be back in the dorm by then. And don't even think about sneaking out." He paused.

"Oh, and you've to be up by five. And one more thing." He stopped to look at me. "We need to keep an eye on your health, so there'll be weigh-ins. Nothing to worry about, just a quick check-in. We'll do that later after you settle in, okay?" I nodded, the rules stamping themselves inside my mind.

We reached in front of the same apartment building Sejin showed me last time. Making our way to the first floor, he led me through the halls and we reached a door that said 'Girls Dorm'. Sejin opened the door and inside I saw a few female trainees relaxing.

Sejin turned to me and said, "This is your home from now on. These are the other female trainees we've had since before. Get acquainted with them and unpack your stuff, then come to the company building. I still need your measurements and I need to introduce you to other trainees too." 

"Okay, thank you," I replied curtly and bowed. He turned around and left the room, closing the door behind him. I looked back at the girls inside the room, who were looking surprised. Well, at least I wasn't living with boys. 

I bowed and introduced myself, "Hello, I'm Kang Arin and I'm 16. I hope we can be friends."

A girl with long brown hair turned to me and said, "Hi Arin! I'm Choi Yerin and I'm 18 years old. Nice to meet you. I think we're supposed to debut at the end of this year."

I nodded, a nervous smile tugging at my lips. "Nice to meet you too unnie," I replied, my voice a bit quieter than I had intended. I glanced around the room, taking in all the other girls. There were five other girls, all looking at me with varying degrees of curiosity.

"I look forward to working hard and debuting with you all," I said, trying to sound confident. 

A girl with short black hair came forward and said, "You're not debuting with us...By the way, I'm Lee Sujin, 18 years old."

"Oh, nice to meet you unnie, but...I'm not debuting with you...?" I asked confusedly. 

"Yeah, our debut is at the end of this year. You still have a few years to practice. Sejin-ssi placed you here with us because we're all girls. You probably would've felt awkward in the boys dorm," Sujin explained.

"Oh okay...thank you for clearing up my confusion. I'll have to ask more about this to Sejin-ssi. In the meanwhile, where can I place my stuff?" I asked. The girls point at an empty bunkbed. I took the cue and started unpacking.

"Sejin-ssi! I'm here." I said while waving my hand in the air. I quickly hopped over to where he was standing. "Well, you seem quite happy. Did you get familiar with the girls?" he asked, trying to refrain a chuckle.

"Yes, I did! They're really nice...but they told me that I'm not debuting with them. Is that true? You didn't tell me about this before," I asked, a small pout visible on my lower lip. "Well...yes. You still have three years to train before your debut but they are debuting at this year's end," he answered, clearing one of my doubts.
